I did enjoy it. Eric and I value your opinion. Up until now, I have taken a practical position on my spark plugs: Mopar OEMs on my Grand caravan. The cheapest price I can find on these is $17 directly from pulstar. They will be worth it if they can deliver fuel economy and longevity. Heck, they even make plugs for my Honda cbr1000rr but that bike is shockingly fast already. I'd look forward to what's on your mind in the future. God bless!
Hello Eric. My search landed on your channel because of my intrigue of the pulstar plug technology. And I just happen to be a proud libertarian as well! I like your philosophy on checking gap, setting it, and my God yes use the torque wrench because you do not want to strip aluminum! Also, I stopped using anti-seize paste. It caused my plug to loosen out of my 2-Stroke dirt bike and blew the threads right out of the head. You don't need anti-seize. God bless!
Thanks for this share and your feedback! We're in a similar boat - east coast, got snow, and AWD would be a great perk to have. We've seen enough winter driving in our province to know, AWD and a good set of winter tires is going to make a big difference in winter driving confidence. Above all else, you wan to be able to get home safely, and Subarus with their AWD have been notoriously good and reliable. Your comment about a short commute is bang on for us - if it even reduces our daily commute spend by 1/2, it's going to pay for itself. Cheers!
I had this exact same model (‘76), in this color, with this engine. Bought it used in 1978 for $5500 when I was 18 years old. Sold it 2 years later ‘cause I needed a vehicle that could haul equipment. I realize now that I was totally clueless as to how amazing the car was and how fortunate I was to own it.
you can't spell _libertarian_ without R, A, I, and T. but you need C and S too. and no, i don't like _any_ boom cars. i live on a thorofare and they're annoying.
I nearly bought this exact year (oops,it is a 2016) and model today,my willpower talked me out of it..After watching this I’d go right now to buy it at 2:30am 😂
You must not be a car guy. I drove the convertible 850i...the XDrive system blows the GT and hellcat away in the 1/4 mile. The look and features are unmatched and it's rare to see them on the road. The 850 is well worth the price.
Descendants of Cain… they have the same thirst for violence. God burnt and blackened their skin as punishment for Cain murdering his brother… at least so say the mormons. Had no idea they were so based! Plus multiple wives and lots of white children? Can I say BASED?!!
Stick to stock unless you really badly want a misfire.bad company and rubbish plugs.fitted these to my 2015 Citroen ds3 1.2 puretech under turbo boost it was like running out of fuel.contacted seller NO refund was offered just a questionnaire wanting to know everything about my vehicle?????? Avoid like Covid 19
Not a fan of the 22” rubber, ALL of the manufacturers have swallowed the Chip Foose cool-aide where the huge flashy rims are cool looking …. Hello, it’s a Lincoln, it’s supposed to ride smooth. I’m buying one with 20” rims coz the profile size actually allows some sidewall flex …. Aka comfort. BTW I’m NOT a fan of air suspension with all of its moisture problems in winter and expense, just give me plain old steel springs with adaptive shocks albeit (coz they all come with that! ) BTW FORD/Lincoln dialled back the tow capacity of the 2022 aviator to only 5600lbs … don’t ask me why??? I would never buy an Audi q7 why? … run flats, and required premium fuel. I’m not a pickup truck guy either but looked at the q7 because of its 7700lb tow capacity. This is why I’m looking at the aviator because it does not have run flats and takes regular fuel too I think that’s great! I hate how all of the manufacturers squeeze you into their giant suvs if you want to tow something half decent in size or into a pickup, I hate pickups they are huge and ride and handle like crap and drink too much fuel. That is my rant for the day! You are right there is a niche market for high tow capacity suvs that are not stupidly huge, the Audi and the pathfinder are the only notable standouts in that category. I guess there is no money and the manufacturers want to squeeze me into their 100,000$ suv hello we are empty nesters who don’t need a super sized suv to tow our travel trailer for the two of us.
I’ve had nothing but problems from the day I bought it. After 10 months, Lincoln took it back under my state’s lemon law. I’m so disheartened. Too much money for leaks, screen issues and brake problems.
Great car if you think $80,000 for 19 days of pleasure is worth it face-fuchsia-tongue-outI p/u a new 2021 Aviator reserve which I fell in love with same as the dude in the video has been bragging about but after 19 days of pure pleasure the entire electrical system went crazy now the vehicle has been in service 3 time for a total of 41/2 months and nothing has been repaired and even more is wrong with it The f------en car is such a piece of sh____It has been nothing but trouble for the last year and a half, Now It is sitting in a storage unit for the last 7 months because its a safety hazard and I will not put my family in it nor will I put the public in danger . Hers just a few of the issues, while driving on the highway the front end starts to shimmy furiously to the point that I have to make my way over to the shoulder. Or all of a sudden the car feels as the brakes are on as I'm driving 100km an hour on the highway Or all of a sudden the back end on the car dips as if the hatch has opened .the screen does not lower its intensity automatically or manually so when your driving at night its literally blinding you . I could name at least 5 other major problems that occur and the worst part of it all .the problems that occur happen randomly you never know when its going to happen so BEWARE!!!!!!!!! I hope I've helped you make a safe decision
I have a 2018 Subaru Crosstrek. 86k miles and currently at the service center undergoing a complete engine teardown to determine a hard idle low power issue. Prior to this, I've had to carry oil with me at all times to top off oil prior to scheduled oil changes. Unfortunately, Subaru did not find any oil consumption issues with my car. I'm currently working with Subaru advocacy to determine the core issue. I'm praying they cover all repair cost out of warranty. I truly wanted to like my Subaru, but it unfortunately has been one of the most expensive cars to maintain that I've ever owned. Couple this with the ongoing oil consumption issues and now the complete engine teardown, needless to say, I'm a bit skeptical about Subarus engineering.
I have replaced the standard windscreen with a Wunderlich Touring screen. This gives instant quieteness, no more rumbling, buffeting etc. It is a lot larger but much more comfortable.
I apologize in advance if this comes off as rambling, I am not particularly skilled when it comes to voicing my musings on the nature of politics. So, please feel free to ask questions. If the differences are truly irreconcilable the only solution to the conflict is the removal of the enemy, this will most likely be the “right wingers” btw (I.e. libertarians and reactionary conservatives) I say this because that area of political discourse is far more threatening to the true political entity in the country which is the managerial elites or the current establishment. libertarians want to be left alone so they stand in opposition to the progressive left, not by their own choice because they are deemed “the enemy” in the friend vs enemy distinction by the progressive left. When the current established powers look at this conflict brewing they have to decide if they will let the conflict play out, which favors the progressive left if things don’t get violent. This is because the very nature of libertarianism is “to each their own” which makes it inherently difficult to identify the enemy to combat, something the progressive left has little problem with. If things get violent the establishment will have to pick a side and they’ve shown that they’re willing to side with the progressive left because they are easy to placate and help perpetuate the rule of the establishment. Libertarians also stand in opposition to the federal government tightening its grip on power which makes the decision even easier. The case is more simple for reactionary conservatives, or the “alt right”, because many of them have already done the job of picking the establishment as one of their enemies and have therefore marked themselves for destruction. The fourth branch of the government, the mainstream media, has already put in a lot of the leg work for discrediting these two groups to the vast majority of Americans. They think reactionary conservatives are dangerous neo-n***es that want civil conflict and that libertarians are Cooky weirdos that don’t want roads or ambulances. In conclusion, The differences between the progressive left, libertarian types, and reactionary conservatives are irreconcilable. With the understanding of the friend vs enemy distinction in politics this means they will have to destroy the enemy. Either they will destroy each other or the sovereign(Federal Govnt) will step in and declare one, or many, the enemy and attempt to destroy them itself. This has already happened with reactionary conservatives and a quick look at history doesn’t bode well for the libertarian types. The progressive left just doesn’t intimidate the establishment’s grip on power enough for them to care, at the moment. I also see things being far too comfortable to “go along with” for the average American to stand up and effectively oppose the establishment. Things could change but that is how I see things going.
After 2-1/2 years here is my update on the Aviator. We bought a black label. Pros; love the stereo, quiet, powerful, luxurious drive. Big cons: transmission replaced at 10k miles, trim pieces fall off, those seat bottoms on the 30way massaging seats....god awful, after about an hour you need to get out and rest your poor butt! Deal breaker for us as we wanted to use this car for road trips. All n all, a nice, plush, good looking around town or short drive car. Other than that, I'd pass.
I just spent a weekend trip in my friends Aviator. I thought the seats were very good. Just slightly too small (I'm 6' 220lbs). Took turns driving, and spent 18hrs in it over 4 days (two 8 hr days). Very minor complaints from me.
Well this is a surprise, a R1gg1n who can actually spell with decent grammar. Huh... Will wonders never cease? Stolen any good ancient civilizations' accomplishments lately? Like a certain desert empire that built some of the most famous pyramids (despite many more as well earning that accomplishment) while your dirt-poor, backwards civilization's females wore dish-sized piercings in their lower-lip and the males murdered, r@ped and killed and even enslaved each other long before the Dutch showed up?
