The Muz Shop Woodworking is my passion. This channel is about building and repairing whatever comes to me. I’ve been working with wood since I was a young whippersnapper -everything from fences, decks and furniture to fly fishing nets, rods and fly boxes . I’m a retired Garbage man of 34 yrs. and have been working on projects out of my one car garage shop for 25 yrs.
* These videos are for entertainment purposes only. Woodworking is very dangerous, and proper education and training is recommended. Attempt these projects at your own risk. Be safe.
This video is about making a diamond shape wooden picture frame . Gift for a 60th Wedding Anniversary.

Help please?! OH MY GOSH! One hour ago i saw the video you did while getting car inspection so i came home and TRIED DOING THIS IN MY CONDO! FAILED. Thank YOU SO VERY MUCH SHOWING HOW TO RIG IT!! Im going to hang it from air vent above my head on the ceiling. Ill run some cord through it and knot it Then hook it to paint can handle as you did Do you think it will swing correct hanging from the vent ? Im in an art show in a gallery soon and I dont have a garage to do as you did
I think that would work as long as it doesn’t wonder around. It has to swing like a pendulum. Get yourself set up and fine it a dry run. Also with a dry run you can get the feel of how to swing it correctly. Also test out your hole and see if it’s a steady stream of paint over a plastic cup of some sort. Good luck. Email me a picture if you want, I would love to see it. 👍👍👍
Thank you for the video I made something very similar with one exception I made the stand wider at the bottom meaning extending in back of the tablet and I cut pieces 3/4x 3/4 rounded to form a little well in back of the tablets to keep extra pens, pencils and stylist . Being larger also acts like a Outrigger more or less so in case your tablet is larger or heavier or you put too much pressure on it the tablet will not fall backwards. I hope I'm explaining myself. Take care
Real Italian pesto is made of only 5 ingredients and certainly not baking soda and other rubbish … This here is a typical American whatsoever mixture …. 🙈😖
If running the two straightedges along each pair of nails strikes a circular arc, then using only 3 nails--the end points of the baseline and the top of the center high point--to construct the straightedges will also strike a circular arc. Once the straightedges are built, remove the nail on the center high point and simply run the straightedges along the end points to strike the arc.
In case you're wondering, drilling the holes for airflow was a great idea. I tried making a mug in a similar way, but skipped the air holes. The inside of my mug is now square lol. At least it all caved in evenly.
It's tough to think this project is for a beginner woodworker when you used a planer, drill press, router table, table saw, and that level 99 black magic staining technique (LOL). I'm a beginner and I don't have any of that stuff. The project itself might be easy, but those tools are well outside my "beginner" hobby budget. Thanks for the video, though, it was encouraging for me.
Thanks for watching. You really don’t need all those tools. If you got a piece of wood that was the right thickness and width. You can probably make this with a hand saw🪚, hand drill , sandpaper and glue. It took me 20 years or so to get this tool one at a time. Good luck and happy making. 👍👍👍
I am going to buy a new steel wheelbarrow soon and seeing you make the handles out of wood like that inspired me to do the same! I am going to take some nice hickory from an old tool handle and make two new handles that fit my hand nicely and install them into the tubes that make up the frame. Thanks for the inspiration!
I turned my 14 inch Lincoln bandsaw from1979 into a 26 inch throat, 17 inch high capacity saw & it worked terrific. I just installed the Carter blade guides & cut some 1/2 inch cold rolled plate. HOLY COW! Never thought that guides were that important if your saw was set up correctly, but the Carters took it to a new level. Cut was almost like it was machined on the mill.
i use the "leave an eighth" method, works everytime! now, here's a challenge, try a 6 loop knot, hint start with a hexagonal blank! i've done dozens of 6 loop, mostly for pens
That’s cool !! I jumped right to 8 loops, Check it out. Celtic Knot with 8 Rings plus How to cut an Octagon Block on a Table Saw. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE--hSTXiiscyk.html How do you cut the Hexagonal blank. 👍👍
I thought magicians didn’t reveal their secrets? lol. Seriously, thank you for making this vid. I have tow arched windows I need to make a filler for and this is just what I needed. Ty
my stepdaughter has been begging for one of these for month's, i've never done a wood project and i was a little intimidated but this was very helpful!! thank you so much(:
