So about a year ago I made a rolling pin with a Celtic Knot design. It was my first attempt at inlaying a Celtic Knot and my lines were off a little. So after reading some comments and doing a little research. I found out what I did wrong. I decided to give it another try, but this time I will do it 3 different ways. The first Celtic Knot I will do it the same as before as in cutting the block in two pieces. But this time I will replace the same thickness as I cut out unlike my first attempt a year ago. The 2nd and 3rd pins I will leave about an 1/8" of the block uncut so it remains one piece. For the 2nd block I will insert a piece of wood the same thickness. The 3rd one I going to cut it the same as 2nd block, leaving it one piece, but this one I will fill with epoxy from @TotalBoat . So let see which Celtic Knot turns out the best and the easiest to make. Wish me Luck...
