6:01 Typically Americans, instead of visiting the places on foot, they drive all around in a car... how stupid is that? It's like visiting the Eiffel Tower in Paris or the Berlin Wall by car.
Good timing with the rocky times. Everyone liked Rocky movie. Movies don't always give 'complete' reality. Many bikers we're friends with all communities, even some Italians were bikers or in the Aryan nation!!
The story about the kid taking out the trash is, he bought Sylvester’s dog, Butkis, due to Sylvester’s financial hardship. Once Sylvester was paid for his screenplay, he sought out this kid to purchase Butkis back. The kid made several thousand dollars from the sale. But that wasn’t the end of their transaction. This kid told Sylvester, once filming begins, put me in your movie. Sylvester kept his word and got him a part. And the rest is history.

I would love to see this stuff Awesome video 🔥 I think that scene of him looking at his statue in Rocky Balboa is a deleted scene. I've seen the movie many many times. It's not in it.
The wife and I took our two young daughters to Philly to visit ESP (Eastern State Pen) and just had to visit the famous art museum steps - being the huge Rocky fan I've always been. It was about 109F that day...lord was it hot. After climbin' the steps, took a bunch of obligatory pics of the girls flexing/posing...we wandered into the museum to cool off in the AC. When we came out and descended the steps we saw a young black kid draggin' a big ice cooler with a piece of rope shouting, "Ice cold Gataw-wade" (with his Philly accent, lol). I imagine his sales were great that day. A memorable trip.
I live an hour away and have lots of friends from Philly and immediate surrounding areas...it's not accurate. Tough to explain, sometimes it seems to be though, especially when his vowels sound longer or drawn out. My impression is that Stallone always sounded more 'New York'
“For My thoughts are not your thoughts, Nor are your ways My ways,” says the Lord. “For as the heavens are higher than the earth, So are My ways higher than your ways, And My thoughts than your thoughts. Isaiah 55:8-9
