Welcome to Gelato! On this channel we will share tips, tools and guides that can inspire and help you grow and expand your ecommerce business.
Our print on demand platform enables ecommerce sellers and creators to produce and deliver custom products such as clothing, wall art, and books to customers anywhere. Because the products are made on demand and closer to where they are delivered through a network of more than 100 local production hubs in 34 countries, shipping is faster and waste and carbon emissions are reduced. It also removes your need to manage inventory or cross-border shipping. Faster, smarter, greener.
Very helpful video - more than the customer service I have experienced on Gelato! However! You guys totally need to do far far more of these style of videos to show quality of products - like how thick and thin wall art or even clothing can be as well as you really need to start focusing in hard on showing more examples of products just like this video had shown but more in depth! Not just how to create videos only. It has to what the production line looks like and show things like embroidery or what art work looks like on wall art and then on a tshirt compared to what does photography look like on a tshirt and Wall art in comparison
I am using the editor personalisation method in Shopify and it works in a clunky sort of way. I followed the instructions to get a live preview on the product page by adding the css selectors into the gelato app settings. However, no matter what css selectors i try, I cannot get the live previews on the product page as described by your instructions. I've spoken with your support on two occasions and they promise to escalate the issue but each time it's never resolved. Any chance of a demo on how to setup live previews on the product pages in shopify.
Hey there, i would love a in depth video about the exact export settings for a photoshop file, like what color profile, convert to sRGB or not and so on. I am havi g trouble with getting the result i want regarding colors and details getting lost.
Hello I am trying to create and Esty listing where my customers can import their own photos to the poster however i cant find it in the personalisation tab when creating the product, i have tried to look everywhere on RU-vid but cant find anything to help, could I have some assistance?
Currently, Personalization Studio is available for Etsy and Shopify, but we’re working to expand it to even more marketplaces-stay tuned! You can learn more about Personalization Studio here: www.gelato.com/personalization-studio
Hi there! Yes, cards are available through Personalization Studio, and it can be used with both Etsy and Shopify. Learn more about personalized cards here: www.gelato.com/personalization-studio/personalized-cards-editor
That's a fantastic idea! While we don't currently offer automated name filling, our Personalization Studio allows your customers to add a name throughout a photobook. Check out our 'Dino Storybook' example (www.gelato.com/personalization-studio/personalized-photobook-editor) to see what that creative experience looks like.
Hi there! Personalization Studio is still available for Shopify. If you're still experiencing any issues, feel free to email us at apisupport@gelato.com, and we'll be happy to assist you further.
When you choose the folded option, are all 10 cards the same? I started to design and it said something about a variant but I was unsure if this was an option and how to add other styles if so. Thanks.
Hello! When you design a card, all 10 cards will be identical. You have the option to create 'Variants' of your design, such as changing the text or colors. However, these variants will be treated as entirely new products, each consisting of another set of 10 cards.
Hello! We offer several products that let customers upload their own images for easy personalization. These include calendars, photo books, and wall art. You can also give your customers a more personalized experience by asking them to send you their images directly, allowing you to customize the designs and fulfill the order manually.
Hello! To add foiling, start by designing a card using coated silk paper and add the text or image layer you’d like to foil. In the design tool, you'll find a 'Finishes' option at the top, marked by a diamond icon 💎. From there, you can toggle which layers you want to foil and choose the foil color. Keep in mind that the entire layer will be foiled, so if you only want specific elements foiled, make sure they are on a separate layer. Feel free to reach out if you need any further assistance!

Gelato is free to use, but Etsy does have a store setup fee of $15 and a listing fee of $0.20 per product. Aside from that, if you don’t make any sales, there won’t be any additional charges. Learn more about Etsy fees here: support.gelato.com/en/articles/8996471-how-much-does-it-cost-to-use-etsy
Hi Will, if you have automated fulfilment then the fees will be charged once production starts. If you prefer to wait until payment is received from your customer, you can switch to manual fulfilment, and submit the orders after payment has been received. You can read about the payment process here: support.gelato.com/en/articles/8996153-understanding-the-payment-process-for-your-orders
