Your video is 3 weeks old and your interface doesn't look anything like mine. I finished designing a product but there is no "continue to mockups" button. Only "save" and "save as template". What am I missing?
Hi Cliff, make sure your Etsy store is connected to Gelato first, then you'll be able to see the mockups section. If you still need help, please contact us and we'll assist you further. Thank you!
Hi there, can you explain how to add a listing to an Etsy store as a draft? It was mentioned in this video at 2:22, but I can't see a way to do it. Thanks!
Hi Anthony, when you are adding a product to your Etsy via Gelato, on the Details step, if you don't not mark the option to Show product to store visitors, your product will be added as a Draft Listing on Etsy. Try that and contact us back if you still need help :)
Thanks for this video! 😃 A question: if I create a product to sell through Gelato/my Etsy-shop, what do I need to create to sell internationally - let's say a mug with my design. Thanks in advance!
Hi Christina, you can sell globally with Gelato and the products will be produce locally or as close to your customer as possible. On this link you can find more information about expanding to new markets: apisupport.gelato.com/hc/en-us/articles/10499092580242 If you still need help, please contact our customer service team and we'll be happy to support you!
Hi, I just started paying for Gelato + and when publishing my art work to Etsy none of the mockups are showing up. Its just the same picture 10 times. Please help. This is extremely frustrating.
It appears that Gelato does not permit postal addresses more than 25 characters, however, Etsy does - so when a consumer sends in their details via Etsy it gets through at Etsy's end but the order ends up getting cancelled/failed when it reaches Gelato. Can you please advise how best to prevent this and will Gelato be modifying the limit to characters in addresses at their end? Thank you very much in advance.
Hi there, thank you for bringing this to our attention. Our support team will be able to help you. Please send us an email to apisupport@gelato.com and we'll get back to you ASAP. Thanks
Hi Alberto, great to hear you are interested in using Gelato. You can upload the files in different formats. See here: apisupport.gelato.com/hc/en-us/articles/360013788000
For various international destinations, Gelato applies different (higher) product prices and (higher) shipping costs per product. The additional cost directly impacts the Etsy shop selling price, resulting in a seller having less margin or even earning nothing when an international buyer places an order. How can this be prevented?
Hi there! Understanding international pricing is crucial for your margins. Our Price Navigator tool is designed to help you adjust prices seamlessly for different locations. Hi! In the video and on Etsy it's said that there is a price that I have to pay every time someone makes an order. And I'm a bit confused on how that works and I was wondering if someone can explain. Thank you!
I do everythin, step by step, but when I am adding my first product (my design on Etsy, before that I created product on Gelato) I automaticly get "your account is suspended, check your email". I got no mail, nowhere, i checked my spam fodlers etc. I filed an appeal, there is a message that Etsy sent confirmation to my email. Of course got no mail. They said it took 2 weeks to get an answer. Still got no informations from Etsy. I only get "are you logged in" emails from etsy. And everytime thats me. Sorry, but can anyone help me? I started another account on Gelato, made new shop on Etsy, but when i started fill the boxes with my bank card informations I get "ban" again. What am I doin wrong? wrrr
If I wish to propose variants (different designs) to my product, where do I start ? Do I first create the series of variants in Gelato then I make the link for each variant in Etsy Or do I first list all the variants in Etsy and then create them in Gelato ? Thanks to help me to put first things first ;-)
Hi Sophie, by default, each listing is a separate design, and its variants are based on size (and frame color if that is framed poster). If you plan to sell different designs, for ease of use and clarity, we suggest to create each design as a separate product. If you want to have additional designs as variants of the same listing, you should first create the variants directly in your Etsy store, and then connect them via Gelato as described in the Second Method here apisupport.gelato.com/hc/en-us/articles/360017726779 If you need more help, don't hesitate to contact us from our help center. We hope this helps!
Hi there, yes, you can add different variations of the same product in Etsy. See this article with more information: apisupport.gelato.com/hc/en-us/articles/360017726779
Hi there, we'll take note of this and consider this topic for future videos. Meanwhile, you can read the article 'How do I move my existing Etsy listings to Gelato?' in our help center. I hope this helps!
Definitely not had a quick and easy experience. Orders on Etsy not connecting to Gelato and Gelato customer support said that I’d have to essentially make a new mock up for each order (which I did and even that didn’t work). I’ve already made all the product mock ups, they were imported to my Etsy store so why would I then need to recreate the product again from scratch to fulfil the order? Utterly infuriating and a massive waste of time. After 2 days of trying to get some help I decided to delete my store and had to refund my first Etsy customer who was angry. Great start! Thanks Gelato 😒
