@@Amateur_Hour. Awesome, that's exactly why I was asking. I'm planning a trip to go ride there and it will be on an even day. I was looking at videos and pick-n-sledge seems like a brutal climb. There are black diamond trails in the system. North and South Diablo. Scorpion Trail. Dare-A-Sarah. Snake Eyes. Sidewinder. You didn't do any of those. Hawes Trail System is a great system. If you want to do Diablo Trail then go to Granite Mountain Trailhead and start from there. If you want to do Scorpion, do Hawk's Nest to Scorpion and look for the warning signs.

Nice video and great hack on going through your moon roof to mount the front straps! Can you tell me or show me how you mount the rear straps to the last cross bar? I also have the same lack of space issues as the front straps that you resolve by coming up and through your sun roof. Thanks!
@Amateur_Hour.
@Amateur_Hour. 2 года назад
To be honest it was a pain. I used a short Allen key to tighten with one hand while holing the t nut in place with the other. I have the last bar on my prinsu rack removed so I was able to stand on my rear bumper and pretty much see what I was doing. Another way to do it would be to remove the crossbars, mount them to the tent and then lift the tent back up to the rack and remount the crossbars.

Nice video! I'm 6'2" and the problem I'm running into is finding a wedge RTT that I can actually fit in comfortably. Wedge Style RTT's are difficult because of the low end (hinge side) where you can't fit your feet in correctly and end up hitting the roof. Do you know if the GFC RTT V2 is bigger, dimension wise, than this the superlite? I really love the low profile of GFC rrt's but I just don't fit in the dams things.
@Amateur_Hour.
@Amateur_Hour. 2 года назад
Thanks! I can understand your troubles. Im not quite as tall as you and I still have the same problem you're talking about. It looks like the inside dimensions are roughly the same however I do think you get a little more room at the wedge end of the V2.
