Brad's angling adventures is a channel all about general coarse and pleasure fishing. I do all my angling on quite a tight budget therefore I don't use all the best equipment but the gear I do own gets me some fish in the net (SOMETIMES) LOL. I will be doing tutorial videos to show new anglers the stuff I know hoping that it may help them in their fishing quests and some of the methods I use may even be different to what some of the seasoned anglers out there are using so with any luck could be of use to someone. I will be fishing on day ticket waters, waters that are run by the angling club that I am joined to which consist of lakes and rivers and hopefully some free stretches of river, I'm also dabbling in a bit of beach/pier fishing. I will also be doing reviews on venues that I visit and any tackle/bait that I buy and use
Used the sodafloat for 3 years now It's absolutely brilliant i have had boat loads of carp using the sodafloat by the way brad the sodafloat enters the water at the weighed end not the tip and when you cast the wind resistance keeps the ball trapped against the float when the sodafloat enters the water the ball fills with water which the slides down the shaft of the float releasing the bait It's deadly as a pellet waggler and It's equally deadly using it at dead depth i have had carp to 22LB using the sodafloat best thing i ever bought had my best match weight of 275LB.It's a fish magnet bloody brilliant guys.

I haven’t course fished in over 25 years. Just bought a float rod and using my trusty Mitchell 440 match reel I’ll be starting over. Going into a fishing shop is baffling! Thanks for posting these video’s to refresh my ever diminishing memory. Nice and easy to follow.
Hi mate Thanks for the great comment and yes I agree fishing shops these days are very baffling because so much has changed but I glad the videos have helped and hope you enjoy your fishing once more 👍🏻🎣 Hopefully soon I will be getting back to making some more videos so if there is anything you would like me to make a video on let me know and I will see what I can do Thanks Brad👍🏻🎣
This is the right way to use the loop tyer, pulling the big loop out of the tyer then tightening the knot, not pulling the knot hard out of the tyer. That creates a weak knot,a knot that is synched only from the side you are pulling. Great job!👍💪🤝
@@Bradsanglingadventures Greetings from Romania! I have seen a few clips from your channel, and your explanations are spot on. To bad you don t have time to make clips ,and grow this channel... Good man!🤝
@@andreipetrescu603 to be honest mate I’ve had a lot going on in my personal life over the last couple years years but things are starting to settle down and come together so I will be getting back to making videos hopefully this year 🤞🏻but thank you so much for the great comments 👍🏻🎣
This is the only channel and your the only person that showed it properly and the only person I’ve managed to figure out how to do it from so thank you bud
Hi Nathan I’m glad that the video helped and that you liked it That is my reason for doing it I’m not interested in making money from it I just want to help people in any way that I can Thanks Brad👍🏻🎣
Hi Dazzab81 Glad the video helped buddy I know I haven’t posted anything new for quite some time but I’ve had a lot going on in my personal life but should hopefully get back on it soon Thanks Brad 👍🏻🎣
It's great to see a bloke who struggles a bit with thin line and small hooks Brad. Also sausage fingers dont help either. I fly fished and taught fly tying from when I was 36 and well into my 50's. Sadly now at 73, my eyes and arthritic fingers no longer allow me to do this. Watching your tutorial on the loop tyer is probably the best that I've seen, with that extra twist making everything much easier. Thankyou sir ! ✌❤ Bob
Yellow line against a light background becomes almost invisible and therefore we can't see what you're doing! Try a red or brown line, or a black background.
Been tying spade end hooks as small as size 20 by hand for a long long time but my eyes are getting worse and can no longer see what I’m doing so I bought one of these today that had no instructions and this video helps massively
I know it's quite an old video, but there's a massive tip I will give you to improve your method. If you clamp the hook in the jaws at a slight angle to the left, it will guarantee the line coming from the inside of the spade every time.
Hi Thanks for getting in touch and thanks so much for the tip I will try it out and see about making another video on it and will give you a shout out Thanks Brad 👍🏻🎣
Hi Ginty It’s the river darent in Dartford If you send me your email or number I will send you a picture of the map to show you where I was fishing Thanks Brad👍🏻🎣
i have one of these.. but i dont use loop to loop anymore i kept losing EVERY bonus fish 4lb+ mainly the carp, the loop ALWAYS failed.. (and im meticulous wi my line if it dont look right its binned) anyway i use the much stronger 3 turn surgeon knot for hooklength and its fixed the prob.. NO crack offs with 5lb carp anymore... i am wondering if this tyer will be good for helping me tie the fiddlier 3 turn surgeon knot i know i am going to try see if it will.....
Hi Can I ask what line do you use as I always use Guru N Gauge line and I have caught carp up to 10lb 5oz with no problems but I will give the 3 turn surgeons knot and see what it’s like Let me know how you get on with the 3 turn knot Thanks Brad 👍🏻🎣
@@Bradsanglingadventures i am still using the drennan x-link hooklength stuff... and its ok now i use the surgeon knot, theres a bob nudd vid on here extolling the benefits.. i was a mental keen match fisher, but i just pleasure fish now with a match approach.. and we have not lost a fish due to hooklenght failing.. with 4lb .. 8lb... 10lb carp its made it so much more enjoyable for us.. ..
Hi Teno Glad you liked you video and if there is anything you would like me to do a video on just let me know and I will see what I can do Thanks Brad👍🏻🎣
@@Bradsanglingadventures Aww Brad that is so kind of you. I have recently retired and have purchased some new fishing gear. Just a quick question, I keep getting a bird's nest around my self casting spool. Any tips as how to prevent this? Thx bud Dr Paul
Hi Paul The feeder is a great method and you get some really aggressive takes but pole fishing is also very good as it is so accurate Thanks for getting in touch buddy Brad 🎣👍🏻
Hi Malcolm Glad the video helped mate That’s the whole reason I put these sort of videos up I’m not a professional fisherman by any means but if I can help even just one person then I’m happy Thanks Brad 👍🏻🎣
