Used the sodafloat for 3 years now It's absolutely brilliant i have had boat loads of carp using the sodafloat by the way brad the sodafloat enters the water at the weighed end not the tip and when you cast the wind resistance keeps the ball trapped against the float when the sodafloat enters the water the ball fills with water which the slides down the shaft of the float releasing the bait It's deadly as a pellet waggler and It's equally deadly using it at dead depth i have had carp to 22LB using the sodafloat best thing i ever bought had my best match weight of 275LB.It's a fish magnet bloody brilliant guys.

Have you done any angling with it yet Brad?

Are they designed for fishing up in the water when fish are in the top layers or fishing on the bottom in shallow water?
