I am brand new as of three days ago, and my god I have loved every second on this game. I've mostly switched to logi as a total noob, and honestly I've had fun showing up with that perfectly timed load of shirts to prolong a battle, and i have been caught in some epic battles and been forced to fight. Lots of fun.
What motivates me is the emergent gameplay. Just a couple of guys want to lead an assault so they recruit randos and and have their plan all figured out. And then we launch that plan weather it's success or failure. Just the coordination to perhaps achieve a minor/insignificant pain in the side of the enemy. Makes for great memories and stories though. Guess it turns out you kind of also have to be petty to enjoy Foxhole by trying to inflict pain to an enemy no matter the cost LOL
Awesome video, had no idea of the complexity of the HCNS facility. Good to see some familiar names in the video too! This was a great mini documentary and very informative. I'm from WMC and spend a lot of time with the 19SSG regi. Great vid :)

Also Warden and new player, 1st war, wasn't part of this fight but Trying desperately to hold the line and launching small scale counterattacks. We did try Yesterday the 21st of August to open up a front on the Eastern part of Callahan's pass but looking at the live map now I think it has been repulsed
The render distance stops first person players from seeing any further. If they didn't have a specific render distance then first person would for sure have this advantage.
I was here! the artillery didn't stop for 2 IRL days straight at the procession and white chapel. I later heard it was because the collies were using an exploit with arty or spg's or something.
I accidentally mistook their facility dock for ours, so I had to give them 2 containers of coke for the 5 ambulances I've upgraded 10/10 service, would reccomend
Well this is the perfect group to work with if you are solo or just a have a few friends to play with. No need to set up a facility or drydock yourself. Just get the rare metals and order a ship that is kitted and ready to go.
Foxhole is in a great spot! What most non-foxhole players don't know is the game plays really well between 2,500-3,500 players on at once. So non-Foxhole players see this on steam and think the game is dead when in reality it's in a perfect spot. Same! From my experience playing with a bunch of different regiments I would say like 70-80% don't mind sharing stuff with the public and helping out the war effort as a whole. It's for sure a smaller bunch that hoard materials and things from my personal experience.
I am sorry but Foxhole is doomed to fail over and over because of lazy thought processes like this. Increasing the resource amount was an AMAZING idea, you saw more cooperation between both solo people and clans, with more access to resources people were able to actually operate the vehicles they wanted to together and whichever side had the most cooperation ended up winning. With such progression the player count increased and is now on the decline again, and thanks to a catchy slogan like "World of Tank game" they defecated bricks and stuck their heads in the sand. I will reiterate this point again and again, it should not take 5 days for someone to make 1 tank that blows up in 5 minutes on the frontline. What solution was needed is some innovation, make anti-tank defenses, put more anti-tank weaponry on the frontline. Heck, let the devs introduce more anti-tank alternatives so that way players have a variety of options to deal with tanks rather than just other tanks. They already do have a variety of options to deal with tanks from mortars, artillery, AT field guns, rockets, etc. If anything, if you think tanks are too powerful buff the anti tank alternatives for dealing with them. Simple enough, at least players won't be spending days on end creating storehouses of tanks to be used at a later date. All "making tanks more expensive" does is reintroduce the same problem that was there before: hoarding and infighting. When resources were plentiful regiments were eager to share their weapons of war with other players rather than being stingy about it. Oh, and not to mention for logi it was BEAUTIFUL. Instead of spending all of your time getting scroop you could spend all of your time figuring out how to actually DO the logistics part of it! Your job was to move mass quantities of readily available scrap, y'know, logistics!
Fun history fact: HCNS typically operates on the same site as the very first dockyard program, known as the Austriaca Naval Arsenal that was run in War 108 by FMAT and Sundial. I remember giving one of their guys a tour of our facility during the update war. It's crazy to see how far they've come and how well they've filled the shipyard role, building on the program we ran for the update war. I should pay their facility a visit some day and get a tour.

@@RobertLovesGames Yeah it was a great site in 108. Austriaca harbour isn’t used for anything else and freighters don’t travel though it so it’s a great spot for building and maintaining ships. I’m glad a group like HCNS emerged to fill the dockyard niche on the Warden side. It’s a really important role for the faction and while it was fun doing it for one war FMAT has other areas that we cut back on so we can run the dockyard program so I don’t think we could have done it long term.
@@RobertLovesGames hey I mean it, those logi boys are the reason any fun can be had with this game, without them there would be no tank battles, no frantic defences, no infantry charges, this game would be deader than halo infinite if it weren't for logistics players and for that they have my thanks

@@RobertLovesGames I just wanted to learn the flow of materials, and how things are built. Pretty sure it was just the wrong time for them at the time, because they didn't even have a squad I could join to ask others. I will keep supplying 50k+ bmats daily until I meet someone who can teach me more.
Ah spreadsheets in space, heck yes loved that game. Were good times even though keeping 10+ accounts subbed costs you more than feeding a kid in puberty.
Seems like a great group! UA on the Colonial side did a very similar thing with building/repair/rearm orders a few wars back but I think they got burned out from it. I haven't seen them do drydocks in a few wars now. CCF has a similar thing but it's not really their focus.
