I made a few tampers. I turn some every now and then. Maybe you could start with some Cob modifications, and learn from there......thanks for watching!!!
Ham Radio operator(KA9WLU (ARES, RACES, Storm Spotter, and EMCOMM), Watercolor Painting. I'll try and see if I can't do a VR for you. Ham Radio is my biggest and main hobby. I would love to open up my own Ham Radio Shop.. I'm trying to teach myself electronic repair mainly radios.
Nothing pisses me off more than being rushed and then having to call back to have the same issues addressed a second time. Noice looking pen! BTW, Hugh and I are still loving the tampers we’re got from you. I’m glad you started making vids again. Have a great weekend!
As a customer I want two things, my problem solved as quickly and efficiently as possible, and i want to feel like they appreciate the fact that I've chosen to patronize their business. That said, I don't think rushing a customer gives them the feeling that you value them, quite the opposite.
So good to you on here, Scott. I love love love that you are sharing your positivity. I need to check out that Mike Rowe series. Thank you for the kind shoutout!
Nice to see you again Scott. Well I'm going through a divorce. My wife wanted a divorce. Our situation is different then most. She couldn't come back home for some reason. She battles depression and BPD. So it has been rough.. I'm getting a lot closer to God. What type of lathe do you have? I'm looking at setting up a workshop in my garage after a friend of mine helps me clean it out. So I haven't had a video in awhile. I have two on my camera that needs to be uploaded if I do or I might just do an update video and mention them. They are YABOs. So that's whats up with me.
Pipesmoker Cowboy Chris Sorry to hear that brother. I've been through a divorce, and it's not fun. Like you said though, it did bring me closer to God. I wish you the best and will keep you in my prayers. I bought a small wood lathe from Harbor Freight a few years ago. I wanted to try my luck with turning some pens...I got hooked...lol. I have another RU-vid channel just for my woodturning, but haven't posted there in a while. I have a very small shop at the present time and it's not heated, so that makes working out there in the winter not possible.
You almost sounded like you've seen a few of my videos. Thanks for your kind words and well wishes. Thanks for the VR and good luck in the contest. Scott
I like the look of the pipe also. Good call on the butter/wax. Usually it's a pipe and a cup of coffee but now and then there is an adult beverage involved.
Hi Scott. I love to sit on my back deck smoke a pipe and watch RU-vid videos or listen to bluegrass music on Pandora. My backyard is a pretty quiet spot. Let me know if you make a trip up to Straus I'd love to smoke a bowl with you my friend it's been too long. Take care. Dave,
Wow, hate to hear you were in a bad way Scott, Happy to see that you're improving. I kind of know what you went through. After my last knee replacement surgery in 2013, I had a blood clot that went to my lungs the day I went home. Walked, aka hobbled, into the house and couldn't seem to catch my breath and had chest pain. So back to the hospital and into intensive care this time. I agree when you think about what could have happened it's a scary thought. Glad you are doing better Brother. We gotta keep moving! Lol. Take care, my friend. ~Dave~
Hey, don't do this again man. You got lucky this time, don't let there be a second time. I'm guilty of doing the ole marathon driving sessions. Guess I better knock that off. Be well, Jay
Good tips and thanks for the PSA. I told you that you should have stayed in KY while I visited. Seriously, did they suggest compression socks or anything like that?
Aristocob yes, I should have stayed. Probably would have had a better time...😉 . I am currently using compression wraps and waiting on my insurance to decide on what type of compression stockings they will help pay for.
Phillip Rivara thank you very much. I'm going to have to start saving for one of your walking sticks. I'm using one of my dad's right now from time to time, but I need something that looks better.
