"One of the greatest keyboard players of any generation" - Glenn Hughes (Deep Purple MK3)
He's the Jimi Hendrix of the Hammond Organ, a player who can pump, pamper and occasionally pound the most unbelievable sounds from a keyboard: sounds that are intense, ferocious and sometimes transcendent.
Lachy Doley's keyboard has powered acts as diverse as Bernard Fanning, Jimmy Barnes, Powderfinger, The Beautiful Girls, Jimmy Little, and The Widowbirds. Now he has a second album with his own band -- the Lachy Doley Group.
The group's second album "Singer Organ Soul" is a tasty slice of what the band sounds like live -- pumping with energy and good times, and featuring both Lachy's 1957 Hammond C3 organ and his custom-modified Hohner Whammy Clavinet -- the only such machine in the country.
Dream that wont Pay! Well Lachy, put those pedals back on the C3 and save some money on the bass man. Oops, sorry bass man then he won;t pay!! But I guess if he don't dance then he don't get payed either!. Do it your way Lachy, love it!!
I can't stop watching... I think you guys are unbelievable.. the best thing to the real thing. I'm surprised that Boston hasn't called you yet or just to give a high-five.. great job!!!
Hi Lachy met you last week in Cork, Ireland , I used to play keys when I was younger best time of my life , but as i got older shift work and responsibility took over , I eventually ended up with depression and that led to becoming a alcoholic so I understand what you've been through not easy , Three years now I'm drink free but I realised during my recovery I had missed playing music SO much and music was part of me , So as part of my recovery I started playing again and came across your videos , I could feel the passion of your playing and it inspired me immensely , I was so thrilled to meet you in person and shake your hand I couldn't believe how down to earth and kind you were and just wanted to say Thank you !!! can't wait to see you play next Year Lachy god bless buddy .
Nice one Darren. Great to hear you're on the other side of it all. But I know it's a never ending battle too. So glad you enjoy my playing. Yeah the those JB/Rory shows should be fun
Imprecionante como ficou exelente como o original! Parabéns pelo talento que Deus le deu. É uma das músicas mais bonitas que ja ouvi ser tocada e cantada. 👏🏻👏🏻🙂☝🏻

That Hammond C3 and Leslie speakers are older than he is and just listen to them jam. And take a beating too!!! Some players call that left-hand style "Chopping"
Amazing cover. I would have thought that the lead guitar would be the star, along with the legendary Mike Portnoy on drums - and they were great - but somehow that young bassist especially stood out to me. Great job all around.
