I've got the exactly the same outfit and caught a similar size kingfish in the lagoon of Lord Howe Island. The reef was shallow as it is mostly on the fringe of the lagoon, but that outfit was awesome. The kingy tried rubbing me off and was lightning fast with changes of direction. I could feel the braid rubbing on rocks. It was a lengthy fight but I was really impressed with how good the outfit felt in the hand and handled the fish. I really enjoyed your video mate.
