I spend every week trying to fish different spots in different ways but in a manner that anyone could afford to fish.
I don't own a boat but all of my fishing is either done on my feet or on the paddleboard and kayak. I started a RU-vid channel to help others that are like me that were just learning to saltwater fish. I hope you find these videos educational and entertaining as I do not edit out my screwup's or bloopers because the best way to learn is from someone else's mistakes.
If you do enjoy the videos please like and subscribe as it helps my channel grow. The more the channel grows the more I will be able to reach out and fish more distant destinations and exotic locations. So tight lines everybody and I hope you catch a huge fish today.
So you have a bridge with a fishing platform made especially for people to fish off the bridge. What seems to be the problem that the game warden needs to come check you? Was he afraid that maybe you caught a fish or something? What has the world come to?
I used to fish a bridge that was just about like this, same type railing, almost, identical. I used to fish for walleye in the evening on the downstream side. This was a fantastic walleye spot and I could usually limit out. Kids driving by on Fri & Sat night noticed a few of us fishing and began throwing eggs at us. One fisherman was hit in the face by an egg. He went to city hall to complain about the assaults on fisherman and the city responded within two weeks. Their response...they put up a 6 ft. high cyclone fence the whole length of the bridge so that fishermen could not fish off the bridge any more. It seems it might have been the mayor's son throwing the eggs or something. Anyway, this was about 30 years ago and that cyclone fence is still up. This was an example of don't punish the perpetrator, punish the people. This was in Moses Lake, WA. True story.
I agree with the others regarding the woman yelling to leave the fish alone. I love to fish also and support your fishing, but you do appear to violate the rules when you caught your last fish. At 13:00 you are sight fishing, you see a large drum, and you go between the signs that clearly say "No fishing between signs" and cast to the drum. Not good.
Yea I dont she call them she just one of those Karen. Game Warden know where all the hot spot. So, they patrol the area where people likely to keep illegal fish or over limit.
Those of us that follow the law never mind being checked for license or anything. If fact, we know that’s what helps keep the lawbreakers away. God bless all law enforcement.
Best require the Karens come in and show proof of citizenship, just to make it more of a hassle for them. They are constantly calling about legal things. Cops should never honor their complaints without proof of crime.
TO BE FRANK WITH YOU, I CATCH JUST ONE BIG ONE, I'M PUTTING IT IMMEDIATELY IN MY CAR AND DRIVING AWAY, TOO MANY EYES AND EARS AROUND, SNITCHES EVERYWHERE, COME BACK ANOTHER DAY AND REPEAT
I'm sure that dumb lady isn't even a vegetarian. Many people will judge hunters and fisherman even though they eat meat. I had a guy from work recently get all preachy, saying "I'm NOT an ethical eater .. but if I WAS, I would definitely be a vegan". I'm like "If you don't walk the walk, then you definitely don't get to talk the talk."
Next time just tie the drop net to the railing and have it already over the water so you can just bring the fish over to it, cause I know the struggle of having to net your on fish
You hooked the third fish on 10# braid while fishing between the "no fishing" signs, them netted him up in the legal fishing area. Maybe it was a boater driving by in their car that called FWC? At least they were cool, you should tell them what happened so they can warm her of the penalty for harassing fisherman.
