I love the channel and the content but seriously recommend you not wear waders on a kayak , that is a recipe for tragedy
@CountryFenderBass
When I was 12 I grew up outside of York Pa. Near my home was a smelly papermill town called Spring Grove. Back in the 70s believe it or not there were no cell phones or Google Earth. But what we did have is a local network of kids on bikes. The legend was that there was a bass pond filled with fish 5 feet long! But it was guarded by an old man who worked for the Gladfelter Papermill. But nobody actually knew where this pond was. As it goes with most urban legends there is a grain of truth in the story. So one day we’re were in the Rutters Farm store buying ice teas and trying to get a peek at the new Playboy Magazine when in walked a crew from the mill. My friend, Mark, asked about this pond and the one old guy said he knew where it was and drew a map for us. He did remind us that it was on the paper mills property and there was a fence around the house and pond. We immediately went home, got our fishing poles tackle box and Schwinn Stingrays loaded up. We followed the stone lane for what seemed to be miles. The gate was unlocked but closed. We rode in and after going past the “haunted house” we found the pond. It even had a rotted dock. We quickly got to fishing and immediately Mark got a hit. He pulled in this big old large mouth. We were stunned, it was TRUE! Suddenly we hear this “HEY ! Get OFF that dock!” Some old man in overalls was walking towards us. We had no where to run. Looks like we are going to jail. Or worse..Telling my dad. He said. “If you wanna fish do it over there, this dock is too dangerous . And are you hungry, my wife can make you peanut butter and jelly if you want.” Turned out he lived in the old “haunted”house and was the care taker of that property that belonged to Gladfelter papermill. He was super cool and his wife was very kind. He even threw our bikes in his pickup and dropped us off at home that evening. Mark and I never told anyone about our secret spot and we fished there every year, and ate PB&Js….

Even if they own the land under the water, if you can access that navigable water from a public area, there is nothing they can do. You are still allowed to fish it. Call the DNR.
@PrometheusZandski
I really like your attitude. Being polite to people and releasing fish are the best ways to represent the fishing community.

Big nice Marinas do own the water under them unfortunately. Underwater land lease. They don't want you hitting boats and breaking off. I was fishing in the daytona halifax marina where a TON of tarpon are and got kicked out by the dockmaster FROM BOAT. I was like 16 pretty pathetic to kick a kid out fishing. They didn't have any signage at all and don't need it.

I used to go out at Cape May New Jersey for flounder in the 90's . The Miss Chris with Captain Fred Ascoli. ( Hope I spelled his name right) Always caught fish! Once he couldn't find any flounder and took us out to a ship wreck. I caught a 5.5lb Sea Bass and won the pool money! He was the best Captain!
@CrimeVid
I dunno about your rules in US, but if you are accessing the water from private land there would be a problem if you did not have permission, I know for instance that you have private beaches, which we (uk) do not.

@ronprince1478
When did he say you COULD NOT? I believe he said they don’t like. That’s a very big difference.
@johntsentidis6637

Catching those sheepheads Reminds me of my childhood days when my dad would take us to the Ft Desoto bridge. Good times.

Mr. Lawless,
@rammannawar1626
They may own the land but not the waterways unless it’s enclosed by their property.
@jamielee9350
By "Sheepshead's" , don't you mean "Bait Thieves"🤣🤣🤣
@survivingthebadge
Great job man. Love that you keep your reactions and mess ups in the videos. Makes it real cause we all do them when fishing. Great channel. We do same in ours after all we’re all human. Keep up the great work.

It doesn't matter if they pay taxes for land under water you can float and fish.
