This is actually probably my favorite game of all time. It’s fast paced action and responsive yet simple controls make this game a gem. It’s very unique and I love the story telling and how it makes 5 different stages seamlessly work together since your flying from one to the other. I definitely wish this franchise could be revived. It’s so original and unique, it would provide endless possibilities for today’s gaming industry.
I DO think the most ballanced X game is X4 on the PS era. It's just made to work, it's possible to deal with it with normal X if you want. X5 already feels way too unforgiven without armor, and I dunno why they did it. The laser section is awful there XD. But X6? I really wish I could watch the team developing this game in three or five months they took because eI think this game went through Development hell.
How does anybody play this game? You have to be a crack cocaine addict to play that fast. I beat first 2 games and in 2.5 hours on RE I haven’t even got thru 2 chapters. Just switched to hero mode, what a pile of shit
How can a game like this be divisive?This is literally one of those games where 99% of people absolutely love it and 1% of people absolutely hate it it's hard to come across someone who actually hates this game
Im on the journey to plat the 2 Legacy collections... I just beat X6 with the Ultimate Armor and hated every second of it... I couldn't imagine doing this challenge run. Now, on to wonderful X7
Love that SEGA paid for Denuvo. The rampant bugs are already sufficient protection against piracy, because no one is pirating this collection over all the other available options.
Even the easiest enemies, the agent-guys with electro-batons, are bad mofos. But those black spider ninja guys... damn. I hate how they turned those into the main enemy type, being weak pussies, in the sequel.
I genuinely love X8. It’s the perfect example of a 2000s edgy reboot done right. The tone fits the series while still managing to feel like its own thing.
