It's worth noting that Fox News did this primarily due to Anonymous bringing to light things like Facebook (which is owned by Fox) giving personal information to corporations for microtargetting. Fox has a long-upstanding vendetta against Anonymous. Sadly for Fox, any attempt to smear Anonymous is condemned to failure and ridicule - as we've seen here.
