I think he knows his subject, but is unable to communicate it well. The audience, in general is not that technically aligned with type, as one expects designers to be. It was a wonderful session that made me feel like my approach to type should be in the details and how to communicate better using it. Thank you Futur team for this.
Matthew sir, This is the exact video that I really need it. Thank you for sharing this one. I learn a lot of things from you, lots of love from India 🇮🇳
I'm an Urban Designer and I just got into graphics design and started to learn about Paul Rand seriously and I was born on 15th of August too, which is also my country's independence day. I am giggling like a child right now!
I love Milka so much! I also had Simon Johnston at Art Center. I've been binging on these crits and have been inspired going back to the basics. Thank you both for donating your time and expertise so generously.
I've been looking for this kinda tutorial for AGES. So many artists told me "oh its just a grain layer..." yeah nah way more than that! Final design looks so wonderful, great stuff! Thnx so much for sharing with us all 💜
I agree with this which is frustrating. I have 100 mark assignment around creating a brand. I feel like 100 marks requires complexity which is the opposite of what a logo should be.
