Equal parts libations and motivation. Garnish is optional! Hosted by Coach Vino
How ya doin', I'm Coach Vino, the "People's Bartender" and I spent nearly two decades in the NYC beverage industry. However, during the dark ages of 2020, I left the industry to pursue my passion for coaching. I'm a firm believer that if you can help affect just one person through your words or actions, then it's all worth it. As a content creator, my goal is to fuse my passion for cocktail culture with my commitment to inspire and motivate people. Welcome to the Progress Bar. Hope you enjoy. Cheers!

Just found your channel and subscribed. This is a really nice fall cocktail. Dry and not overly sweet. Will definitely add it to my "fall' rotation. Paired it with a Blue cheese on bagel chips, watching college football games on TV and seeing the leaves start to change color...One of the definitions of fall.
@@CoachVinoLLC that’s funny, I hadn’t thought about it from the American perspective; calvados is super easy to get here because I’m a stone’s throw away from France, but applejack is basically impossible to get unless you’re in the States! Glad to hear they should work more-or-less the same here though!
I've been making Jeffrey Morgenthaler's spiced rum recipe. He suggests putting a teaspoon of Chinese Five Spice mix (it's like pumpkin pie spice, but better) in a 750 ml. bottle of dark rum. I prefer two teaspoons. I make Cable Car cocktails with it. But I'll try Martin's recipe when this bottle is empty.
Funny enough, I've never seen his spiced rum recipe. Sounds really interesting. I'll definitely give it a go once this stuff runs out. Thanks for the recommendation! 🤙🏾
This looks phenomenal! I love apple anything and this is going to be GREAT to add to my recipes in my notebook for cocktails! Great video again Coach! Have a fantastic day and great weekend
I might be out of lairds…. Might have some in stock in the garage, but so many Halloween boxes blocking my stash…. Can’t go to the store, because I listen to this glass half full podcast and I’m too busy doing great things now….
@@CoachVinoLLC I did find some time to run out and get Sparkle's dad a card and gift card for his birthday... I decided to buy some Laird's just incase, but it's not the bottled in bond we love so much...
ALL the above! Fall is my favorite season and i love the colors, temps and above all it's football season as well as baseball playoffs and my favorite holiday is Thanksgiving! ( and of course Christmas)
Hey Vino, hope all is going well. Just stopping by to check out the latest great drink coming from you. This one sounds pretty good. Looks great in your hand. Cheers my friend.
Did the recipe not call for cracking the allspice berries? Usually when im infusing with allspice, i crack them open, making sure not to pulverize them. Thanks vino!
this cocktail sounds delightful and perfect. I now need a Smells like teen spirit cocktail. This is definitely one I would love to make. Think wife would enjoy as well. cheers bud
@@CoachVinoLLC BTW here is teh other recipe I thought of with balsamic vinegar (best with the glaze reduction version) Strawberry Fields By Trina Nishimura 2 Fresh Strawberries Muddled 1.5 Oz (45ml) Strawberry Gin ½ Oz (15ml) Fresh Lemon Juice ½ Oz (15ml) Honey Syrup Egg White Garnish Five Drops Of Balsamic Vinegar Reduction And Fresh Ground Black Pepper
We've got that great tasting Modena Balsamic, but just bought some strawberry balsamic, which will hit the nicely... Will be picking up strawberries when I sneak out to grocery shop in a bit... If I had to guess, I made all of your summer cocktails this summer... So, better make this one tonight...
Damn, a strawberry balsamic sounds crazy good. That's a killer combo. Let me know how it turns out with that one. Also, thanks for always supporting the channel by making the cocktails. You're a helluva pal. Cheers!
Theres a restraunt a few towns over from me called Mesita and they make their own rumchata and top it off with whipped cream and cinnamon. Best thing ever, i gotta make some for myself
That’s awesome. The homemade stuff isn’t a 1:1 taste wise but it’s better IMO. Just fresher and silkier. Plus you can bump up the cinnamon if you like. 👍🏾
Im actually not a big bourbon guy. I actually enjoy moonshine way more than whiskey or bourbon. I'll of course drink it without hesitation but it was never my favorite. I do like to pick up the Knobs Creek offerings. They tend to be consistent in my bottle space.
Bourbon is the breakfast of champs. lol. Bet I feel ya. I’m the same way with tequila. I appreciate it but it’s not something I crave or consume much. Different strokes. Cheers! ✌🏾
