um does rims make a difference in road noice as you said in the video to make it better???? i mean tires yes i understand, but rims? first time i hear something like that :)
I have at least two that are making the clicking noise. The one you replaced and the one in my dashboard on the left side. Are they all the same part? Or do I need to order different ones for different part of the car?
Just watched this in preparation for doing it - and transposing everything for RH drive :) Great dismantling aid vid - thanks! For everyone thinking of doing this remember, as ALL the instructions in manuals and RU-vid say : YOU MUST UPDATE YOUR FIRMWARE BEFORE INSTALLING THE NEW HUB UNIT. The only improvement I would make (and I may do one myself) is to show the location of all the trim retaining pins/clips for each bit removed. That way us noobs know where to apply those trim tools effectively. Great video, don't forget to tie back those unused connectors and remove your SD Navigation card from the old unit (if you have one). Somewhere else I saw reference to a screw underneath the cup holders (may be Euro model??) one to watch for? - Cheers!

Can you please share me the firmware for 70.00.100A 4A N ? I can’t find it anywhere , the firmware given by the seller of retrofit kit is not usable , my head unit unable to detect the package from the usb .
I’m gonna give myself some advice. So you have to basically send it in without fear. It’s either going on or it’s breaking. The 2 prongs were a pain but a little bit Of lube and patience got it done.
my 2015 cx5 right glass came loose after washing the car. had to remove the mount and stick the glass onto it. This video helped with mounting back the mount onto the mirror itself. cheers!
Thanks for informative video.Is that true that screen is disabled?What is the point to have it then?Do they sell newer version where screen is active?I bought some unit 9 months ago.
Yes screen is disabled for android auto. To have android auto and carplay. Way easier to get to music through apps and voice control. Not sure if there is an update. But i am thinking a whole new screen is necessary.
My side mirror in mazda 3, 2015 wont close when I lock the car. But when I manualy push mirrors and start the enginen they opening automactly. Anyone know what's the catch?
Thanks for this great tutorial. I actually had a vibrating mirror issue. I was so worried to try it myself. Your video gave me the courage. I just added double-sided foam tape to the spots on the mirror bracket that had no adhesive. No more vibration = a $700 savings. That’s was the quiet for a whole new mirror & labor. Thanks🎉🎉🎉😊😊😊
