this is misleading , (i would like to know ) , how many of you, thought ,(it was related to sicarios and narcos danger situations ) growing in numbers and taking over towns and cities committing acts of violence and extorsions. i am assuming this place is a safe place away from the drug lords.
Love your videos. We are coming to Bucerias in November with our daughter and son-in-law. We are staying in Bucerias and she wants to go surfing at La Lancha while we are there. She lives in San Diego and surfs all the time. We are not planning on renting a car. Can we get a taxi or bus to La Lancha can you give me some information about each? Thank you.
So mucho for usa asking mexico to select and only accept the best produce of México to send to usa he still thinks Mexicans have the best food and fruits Go figure 🤔
Talking about donuts - we bought some delicious donuts on the beach at Playa Manzanillo at La Cruz when we were there last February. Closer than San Pancho. 🙂
It's hit and miss with Uber once you leave Puerto Vallarta. But I have heard that there is an company called inDrive that is more popular here. You can always take taxis as well.
I have been living in Mexico for the last 4 years. Four different cities before I settled in Guadaljara. Best decision I ever made in my life. Wonderful cutlure, wonderful people, great food and INCREDIBLE weather! My budget is around $1,000 U.S. a month. That is food, rent, everything. I still make a little money from my company back home so I am definitely living the life. And one more thing....Don't believe the fear mongering media in America about "Mexican crime." I have seen NOTHING since I have been here. I went to Sand Diego a few months ago for a little trip and I was freaked out in one day! Nothing but drugged out zombies and crazies everywhere. Mexico is paradise:).
¡Como México no hay dos! Dice el viejo refrán. No place like Mexico, we're quickly becoming the best place to live in the entire World. Thank you for your great video.
I have met several people who returned to the US because of Age, only to wish they had stayed in Mexico or Costa Rica. My massage therapist, who is by the way the best in the World, is moving to Mexico to open a Wellness Retreat. It's the USA's loss.
I am Mexican and I am a telecom engineer, I was living in USA legally, and I´ve been almos all over US, also the opportunnyty to travel to Asia and Europe, love Italy. But In Mexico you really feel like home no matter if you are foreinger, everyone is welcome in Mexico, here we are very friendly
Crime and corruption, and no clean tap water are the biggest problems. You must realize that u must disinfect your food because the water is not clean. 😮
We did the same thing 6 years ago....all of my siblings (9) said I was lying... My Mom was the only one that believed us... She said you always do what you say you are going to do... She's gone now but she knew we were safe and doing well. My husband is Mexican born here.. I lived in Colorado..all my life.... I'm a permanent resident for a few years now... We lived in many states and we just settled in Durango Durango.. My hubby's home town... Best thing we ever did... Welcome. Thank you for sharing.❤
I really appreciate your videos. I lived abroad for 16 years, and I wish I had videos like yours “back in the day”. It would have made life much better, and more enjoyable. Keep up great work!
Love emanates from this couple...it's evident in their love for each other, those less fortunate and the country of Mexico. Love heals & love protects. I'm happy to see them in good spirits and. recovering well!
You can tell this was such a great move for y’all!! It seems like an awesome idea to live somewhere you love and be able to make that works with jobs too. My question is, how do you keep from getting the horrid tummy trouble?? I got it so bad when we visited there that we haven’t been back to Mexico again. It felt like the monster from the alien movie was trying to claw out of my stomach every day. It was kind of funny because I got it on day 2 of the vaca and toughed it out with the help of the house Abuelita. The rest of the group got it as they returned to the US and every one of them felt like they were going to die and had to go to the ER for help.
The elbow gesture is literally "codo" haha. That's the mexican slang for someone who is stingy. So when someone touches his elbow, it just literally means "codo". Nice catch tho. At first I didn't know what that was supossed to mean. And then I was like aaaahhhhh "codo" ^^
There are many grocery stores in the neighbourhood, 2 - 3 minute walk. They have everything from fruits and vegetables to bread, beer, toothpaste etc. There is also a "Fruteria" (Vegetables and fruits only) nearby. For fresh Tortilla's a Tortilleria a block away. The farmer market is every Saturday on the street around the corner. The baker stops almost every night around 10 PM on the corner next to Casa Pacifico, with Donuts and other baked goods.
Thirty years in Mexico. Here are some more drastic differences. 1. I had to travel to Washington State when my daughter was ill. There were more homeless in one kilometer of Los Angeles than I saw living in Mexico City for 15 years. 2. In the last five years, there have been 2 school shootings in Mexico that caused 8 deaths and 5 wounded. In those same five years, in the US 707 school shootings caused 368 deaths and 610 wounded.
Thank you Paul and Daniela for featuring our home. You did an awesome job and the video captures really well the relaxed lifestyle we enjoy while in Punta de Mita. 😀
What a beautiful home. Personal attention to detail really shows. A labor of love for sure, even if it took 20 years to build. I hope renters appreciate this rental and treat it like their own, many hours of sweat & tears went into this property to make it what it is!
