Altough I like Clint Eastwood as an actoe he was a bit of a bastard in his personal life. Didn't he want Sondra Locke not to have children and get her tubes tied? I never wanted to see the movie in the theaters, but acquired it through a promotion at McDonald's. After watching it I fell in love with it mainly for its portrayal of the Indians in a very respectful and good way.
In a Dec. 11, 1957 episode of The Adventures of Ozzie and Harriet, 'Goody, Goody', they shared a bed in their bedroom, then it was back to 2 twin beds. When it was shown as a prime time rerun during the Dick Van Dyke era, that scene was still intact. It's ironic that Laurel and Hardy, The Three Stooges, and Our Gang sometimes shared the same bed. I don't know what the big deal is, when in 1957, couples did swinging. And you thought that your grandparents were old fuddy duddy's.
"Stands with a fist'' is the rattiest looking white-slave the movies could tolerate at the time. They just couldn't make up their minds about this character. IF she was the ''chief's adopted daughter'' she'd have status, they'd have allowed her to comb her hair, and wash her face. As it was, she looked dirty, haggard, and more like a slave than member of the tribe. I think they threw him their unwanted hag, one well past child bearing years, one they couldn't marry off to their own people.

As much as I hated to see Gibbs leave the show, I know change can be a good thing. No, the show isn't the same. The only one there from the first season is McGee. But it has evolved. I'd love to see an episode or two with appearances from old cast members from time to time, especially Gibbs. In the meantime, I hope Mark Harmon is enjoying retirement. After all his time on screen, he deserves a break.

U know back 91 he had to inorder to view adult movies literally had to go to triple ,X X X theaters, rhere was no VCR tapes then or CD ,or Internet etc, they made such a big deal and completely embarrassed him being portrayed the opposite holsom icon on tv &film, so let that be a lesson to all celebrity's u get caught spanking that monkey in public despite how pee wee it is , and u might get 100hrs of mopping floors at adult movie arcades for community service
