Not taking anything away from her but u gotta feel halfhearted after winning gold under the circumstances that day. Like you don't get to fight the final and gets handed over the gold is hollow, it means nothing. Also no one really knows about her and those who knows her knows through phogat. Unfortunately no one will remember her winning bit people will remember vinesh how she beat the women who was unbeaten in Olympics.
She is not a winner Without playing a gold medal match and getting a gold medal is a dream You should share the medal with vinesh after having a conversation with referees, but unfortunately, you don't Anyways, congratulations( I don't think u r champion )
My kids both wrestle and at their club my daughter Lana is almost always the only girl. They just started up a new season and suddenly there were 5 other girls. The olympic success of Sarah and her teammates definitely is motivating.
Can I make a suggestion here why doesn't flow 15 seconds before the match plug a sponsor and then plug the sponsor for 10 seconds afterwards there are certainly companies that will pay and they could then put many many many more free matches on RU-vid People just don't want to pay for a subscription they feel it's always a scam
21:16 It did happen just the once and Blaze didn’t have an answer for it but Vito only drove him out for one. Thing everyone has to realize is this is Vito’s first FS matches in nearly a year. It is his first matches of many kind since NCAAs 6 months ago. There was rust for sure. He will be fine.
James Green looked fine at the Olympic Trials. He lost to Jesse Mendez, was winning 3-2 but got taken down to a gut with 20’seconds left. Not a bad loss considering Mendez was Zain’s closest match
I think this is very obvious how it helps the team. If you are in the OSU wrestling room there are very few people with world medals. You go to the Penn State locker room and that’s almost the cover charge. They want to elevate the standard of that room more than what it’s been. They want to compete with Penn State.
How can Brands look a 17 yr old and tell him he’s their guy for the next 4 years. He can’t. This has to hurt the room and the program . Loyalty is what Brands used to preach.
A good recruiter isn't going to tell any kid that they're the guy for 4 years. The coaches job is to win, not promise spots. If you go to a blue blood program you don't have a guaranteed 4 year spot. That being said, I wouldn't go to Iowa if I was a highschool recruit right now.
