He will rock. M2T, he mentored world caliber talent. While managing all the other paths he walks. Training for world competition, in domination. Farm. Family. David Taylor will be as good as he focuses his manifestations. His path has shown when he moves, he moves with force. God bless him

Former Canadian amateur wrestler……. I think this is great for wrestling. Anytime you get greatness spread out through more areas it only creates more greatness. It’s time for these studs to get out and coach major programs and spread the new wave training philosophies. It’s created more competition which creates better people and athletes! I hope to see more of the Sanderson tree spread out, not because I dislike him, I think he’s so amazing, I just want to see more competition! Love your guys’ show! Minor criticism is the sound. Sorry don’t mean to be negative!

Man what a ram job on Coleman. Great hire. But man. CS moved his entire family for an opportunity he’s never going to get. What was the point in leaving UNC??? And what’s up with John Smith? It was obvious he wasn’t himself at this last NCAA Tournament.

Life‘s hard. Big businesses and big entities are a rough go. You can’t count on a handshake from anybody. It’s not over till it’s over. Coleman Scott is a grown up and should’ve taken that to consideration. I mean I don’t know exactly what was told to him, but he should have enough sense to know that John Smith isn’t the ultimate decision maker.

Another thing I’m wondering is how this will affect the NLWC. As it currently stands, the NLWC is practically the OTC. Best room in the world. What senior level athletes will head to Stillwater to train under Olympic Champ David Taylor?

He will be starting from scratch at Oklahoma State. Nobody is leaving Penn State to join David. Zero wrestlers. Zero. Those kids go to Penn State for Cael and the team success. Not David Taylor who trains in a Totally different room.

John Smith went straight from international competition to HC 33 years ago...the David Taylor hire is almost identical to the John Smith hire except that he is not a Cowboy. OSU fans, if they question the move they only need to look at what was done in Stillwater in 1991 hiring the best wrestler in the world with no coaching experience.

The only reason Coleman Scott left NC was to get the HC position at Oklahoma State. Him and John had to have that discussion, had too! Dude got screwed, but what can you do??? It’s David Taylor for peet’s sake

David has to keep m2 center in PA for recruits . This is also a great move for USA wrestling . You have askren turning out blue chippers , pa and Iowa set too . OK will be a greater state for talent as M2 branch will be built in Stillwater .

You heard it here first. A lot of Hawks are gonna get poached. The touted "Iowa way" is neurotic - that's why, to a man, all their studs crack mentally at the NCAAs & look like a regiment of tightly bandaged civil war casualties. Their champions get worse as the years go on: Kemerer, McDonough the Emaciated, Woods, the Bull, Lee. That sheer willpower type of dominance isn't human enough to carry grapplers into greatness on the international stage. Champions have full hearts to complement their iron will. IA: where competitive wrestlers get burnt out.

He absolutely will. DT will give OSU a huge recruiting edge. That's why he was hired. OSU has been getting out-recruited for the last 6 or 7 years. A change was needed. Sorry, Coleman.

Brands head must be imploding right now….this puts Iowa further behind, and Okie probably just paid a guy more than Brands is making, with no coaching experience. Do we know that DT isn’t taking this for coaching experience till Cael retires. Clearly he must have been negotiating for more salary for him and his assistants, and potentially all his interests in SC. Can Kennedy walk if he has a contract? Nolf would be great on Penn States staff. Lots of politics with a head coaching job like this. Okie State flew to SC prior to the OTT, to meet DT for this position. Lastly, on a non related note, people are reporting that AB tested positive for Adderall for OTT….is this true?

It will be a big mistake politically for him to bring in all those coaches and to completely get rid of all the okstate guys. As an alumni and former wrestler who grew up in Stillwater and knows the culture, it will turn a lot of people off. Yeah we want to win but we also don’t like screwing our former guys. Hopefully they will find other jobs soon and then he can have that excuse. Caldwell is a great level headed guy.

@giacalonebuilding4443 Kasak as well. I also read an article on Ryder where it said that Taylor is why he skipped his senior year and went to M2 to train. I think they get a couple.
