"About Effing Time" is what George, Adrian and Andrew hope their audience say at least once each episode.
The three hosts knew each other virtually, but after meeting in person at Watches and Wonders 2022 and filming an impromptu RU-vid video together, there was an instant camaraderie that led to a follow-up podcast.
The trio come from different backgrounds but have found common ground in their unending interest in and passion for watches. As well as taking the piss out of each other.
I absolutely love watches, the high end watch brands are out of my budget but the AMZWATCH has literally an almost duplicate of every single watch on the market . Always a great but no matter your budget.
The difference in price between the real and copy is a bit better quality, very expensive Swiss manufacturing costs, big marketing budgets, fancy shops, big management costs...and lots of profits...because Rolex can. The copy is made cheaper in China, has no marketing budget, no sales tax, no fancy store costs, slim profits and tight management.

George, I really respect your internal struggle… Now after listening to you discuss your “dark secret“ with such honesty, Im even more inspired to have a watch customized by you. Perhaps next time I’m in the UK I’ll reach out… In the meantime much respect to you, Adrian and Andrew too! I love the podcast.
Actually, it further highlights why you don’t have to pay $10,000 for a brand that is trying to sell you status when you can pay $600 instead. More than half the Rolexes you see on the street are fake.
Again n again Adrian is saying that “they let us in”………..buddy u need to visit a psychiatrist cuz u clearly lack self worth or probably doesn’t have one……u guys r the u tubers and that’s y they welcomed u in……..its not problematic to think that u r smart but to believe that others r dumb……..By the way….how many times have u guys rehearsed for this add……certainly it’s not a random video of “act of kindness” from Rolex…….its a shitty brand, it will always be.
Getting guests in to express how morally superior you are is probably not the best way to make friends and influence people 😂😂😂 just sayin… perhaps try airing some social graces. Knowatamsayin’
Bang on. Sold my first 'proper watch' a SM300 green dial to put funds towards a submariner for my 40th. I now have the funds for a sub, but i would much much rather my Seamaster back. It was a milestone in itself, but i was far too occupied with the next big purchase.
I think that shows exactly why buying real might not be the best choice. The movement is reversed engineered meaning that you will getpractically the same accuracy and quality that a real rolex would offer. Replicas at these price are made with similar manifacturing process and material. And i would argue that this is a piece of art too just by how accurate for the price they can get. 98% it for a fraction of the price idk im just saying.
In the past year I recently gotten the watches and horology I love this channel because you learn about other brands than just Rolex Patek Philippe AP in Richard Mille without a doubt my favorite watch content I would rather watch this in Gray Market or Neko Channel any day
High-end hyper clones can cost up to $2,500-3,500 USD, offering near-perfect replicas that are virtually indistinguishable from the originals. These replicas often feature exact serial numbers matching the make, year, and model of genuine watches. However, for around $600, you can still get a meticulously crafted Best Edition VSF 1:1 Rolex Submariner 126610 LN VS3235 Super Clone, so precise that even experienced jewelers might struggle to identify it as a replica. Having worked in the luxury watch industry, I’ve witnessed this firsthand. Gone are the days of cheap $20 knockoff Rolexes-factories in China, Hong Kong, Turkey, and Italy now utilize cutting-edge technologies to create some of the most accurate and highest-quality replicas available today.
Now it is actually very difficult for you to buy a 1:1 super clone. From the ordering cycle, some of them need 15 days, but most foreigners except China don't know this. They don't know the real super clone.😂
I will never sell my Speedmaster Moon To Mars. I spent 7 years trying to save for it. Life conspired against me. Every time I got to within £500-£700 of price at that moment, I got laid off. Six times in seven years. Then, unfortunately, my mum's brother, my uncle Harold died. He left each of us £500. Enough to enable me to get the watch I had wanted since first seeing it. My mum was over the moon (no pun intended) that it went on something that would last and she could see me enjoying. That was in 2014. A couple of months later Omega discontinued the watch. In the family it is referred to as the Uncle Harold Watch. I love it and miss Uncle Harold.
