I feel like Darkseid is Pre MCU Thanos. As in not relevant enough yet. The animated movies I've seen him in didn't impress me either. I'd rather get a more fleshed out villain than a bland universe level threat one.

Personally, I'd rather see more comedy (as in non-action) characters join the roster. I find them more interesting and you can get more creative with their move sets. The game definitely needs more Looney Tunes (especially Daffy, who should've been in the base roster), Hanna-Barbera and Cartoon Network characters; I'd pick either Daffy, Lola, Yosemite Sam, Wile E. Coyote, Speedy Gonzalez, Granny, Scooby-Doo, Fred Jones, Daphne Blake, Captain Caveman, Space Ghost, Dexter, the Powerpuff Girls or any of the Aqua Teen Hunger Force over Darkseid (he seems more suited to be a boss character to me).
