The Game Awards are just in a few weeks. We could get a Multiversus shadow drop during it but doubtful. We just gotta wait and see.

With the game awards coming, I think they are most likely going to use that to have a comeback cinematic trailer to showcase the new stuff. After all they did win the last game awards so it would be cool for them to come back

Hope we'll get to see Coyote from Looney Tunes, since the recent shutdown of the finished film 'Coyote VS ACME' I was hoping that Coyote would be one of the next fighters too

Honestly if they show a cinematic trailer and it reveals Flash or Joker I think that would bring back TONS of players hands down. Plus if they do tend to stick with Early 2024 I’m hoping January-February so having a trailer in December would be a PERFECT comeback especially since they’ve been quiet about the game so far. Lets hope tho

Will have to say, Nick brawl 2 is the new kid on the block WITH good online, have seen many many matches without any single framedrop/hiccup in the matches Crossplay and rollback can fish up a lot of players, Multiversus had crossplay, but needs to get some better rollback (Some matches were atrocious with the horrible internet from the opponents), AND Multiversus was F2P, that brought tons of players to the game! However, it's up to WB and the devs how will the game survive, cause the microtransactions are the only thing it's getting the boot on the game since only whales and FOMO's are buying them and there wasn't that many cosmetics to be interested (aside from the legendary skins, but they were 20 BUCKS each)

I hope they release in asia this time. Asia is the BIGGEST FGC region and they need to cater to that massive audience.

It's the best Smash-like game I ever played but still doesn't reach the equivilent of Smash and it's features and side-modes. I'd absolutely love for it to though.

Can't wait for Amethyst from Steven Universe and Lebron James to destroy Finn from Adventure Time and Superman Edit: alright now a serious comment... I can't wait for this game to come back, new characters, maps, gamemodes, graphics... This could be a chance to reboot almost everything the game had going for it. See, the thing that made me leave the game was the lack of new characters, but now there is a chance for so many new ones! Personally I would like some new Steven Universe characters as we had so many leaks and teasers for the long awaited Amethyst. But I do know that there are many things others people want (Joker, Daffy Duck, AMETHYST, Harry Potter, etc.), am I see this as an opportunity for WB and Player First Games to add these characters and fulfill the communities wishes. There are so many things they could do to bring back the community and the first thing to start with is bringing the game back first.

Multiversus was the best absolute best clone of smash bros and with great characters, i miss it but it better be perfect

I know it's probably not going to happen and even though I got used to it over time. They should REAALLLY make the game less floaty overall, while making the game feel more combo focused. As much as I love what Multiversus was, they should really consider changing the speed of the game. I get from a design standpoint the floaty-ness makes 2v2's more balanced, but it hinders what most people play anyways, that being 1v1's. I know this would require a lot of effort and time to do so, I completely get that as an aspiring game dev myself. But it would fix the number one issue with the game for 90% of players. No matter how many characters, skins, voiceovers, amazing movesets and patches you make, nobody is going to stick around if they don't find the game fun to play. And though I was able to look past the floaty-ness and quite frankly the worst 1v1 format in any fighting game, so I could enjoy 2v2's and everything else, I can't say the same for other people. I get that this is what makes this game feel "Different from Smash" which is what people said about NASB 1 and look where that attitude got them. Though all of a sudden NASB 2 starts taking more notes from smash and does really well, and is generally well loved within the community. If a faster and more combo focused game aint broke... DON'T. FIX. IT. Here's hoping this game comes back and becomes a NASB 2 situation where everything is fine and dandy.
