Notice if you watch the recording and right before you get to the triple hexagon triplets, you hear a FAINT reference to Butterfly Planet song, or 10-X.
nicely done man, i did the 1.2x speed, and it was crazy how much harder it was compared to 1.1. i did 1.1 in like, 2-4 tries, but took me like, 20+ for 1.2x. a couple hours over 3 sessions. was shaking when i finally got it haha. don't think i'm going to try 1.3, it seems like i'd need 3 fingers for that, and i have only ever used 2.
just stack boxes of LJO on one side, evenly stack SZ ontop of Ts on the other, and clear Tetrises until you fill zone. Make sure to use IRS (initial rotation system) so you can spawn the pieces in the center two columns
There is a video of someone Pure Perfecting the song and there is a falling crab So either it's an RNG thing, a Pure Perfect thing, or a removed thing
@@TrevorSmithy It's a real thing, you pure perfect the performance and at the near ending a crab will fall from the chandeliers, you can witness this easter egg by playing in a slower speed such as 0.6x (if ur not good in fast levels)
3:37 Outside triangles are actually five times as long as inside triangles. Inside triangle angles are all 60 degrees, or 1/3 of a beat, while outside triangle angles are 300 degrees, or 5/3 of a beat. In total, an inside triangle is one beat long and an outside triangle is five beats long.
1:01:01 Here's a fun copypasta for you: Square, meet Circle. In this hit film of the year, you won't know what to expect when SQUARE MEETS CIRCLE! Starring: Big Square and Big Circle. This hit film will have you quaking in your boots. Watch as they're surrounded by even more Squares and Circles! Who will win? Rounded or Jagged? Only you will know by the end! Why am I doing this movie intro? I don't know but it gave me the sudden urge to. Now, with TWO SQUARES and TWO CIRCLES, you can have three times as much shapes! Indeed! Four times as much shapes, five times as much shapes, six times as much shapes; even Mario pipes join the fun! Or no, they're cannons, watch as the Circles and Squares fight one tiny blue Square who is hopelessly outmatched and probably going to die. Indeed, you've never seen anything this insane before.
It's a bit misunderstood, but most of the attack isn't determined by the amount of lines cleared, but the difference is that most of my attack was mid combo (due to the c4w), so since the total damage is accumulative, there was (as noted) 70 damage. Add to that the additional 8 damage from the two t-spin doubles I had at the end, and the opponent had to counter 78 damage (i.e. nearly 4 boards worth). Their attack of 42 then made the difference still a whopping 36, or just shy of two whole boards, which meant that even after tanking a whole board, there was still way too much garbage to cancel. Here's a breakdown of how the 70 number was calculated: Sources: tetris.wiki/Combo and tetris.wiki/Tetris_Effect#Zone_Battle Combo 5 Single (Mini T-spin) in Zone = 2 Combo 6 Tetris in Zone = 2 + 4 (tetris) + 2? (b2b) Combo 7 Single = 2 Combo 8 Single = 2 Combo 9 Single = 2 Combo 10 Single = 3 Combo 11 Single = 3 Combo 12 Triple = 3 + 2(Triple) Combo 13 Double = 3 + 1(Double) T-Spin Double = 4 Last two pieces are combo 2 and 3, so +1 and +1 so 36 damage from attacks and 34 from a full zone charge ultimatris for SEVENTY DAMAGE TLDR: difference between ultimatris and perfectris (not including other attacks within zone) is only 7 lines. Most of the difference came from my combo clears vs opponent's lack thereof
Well, there are two main techniques: Alternating: Just alternate which finger you use or "Percussive": Use one main finger to keep the beat, supplementing more when necessary. Most people use alternating, but I've seen Gamma Loop and a few other use "percussive" for especially fast sections, as it can help your accuracy.
This concept reminds me of the Vib-Ribbon rhythm game on PS1 where you can upload your own music and the game will generate a level for you. While I find the technical aspect interesting, I do have some feedback on the game design aspects: - The distinction between Melody and Harmony is alright, but in my opinion the Rhythm section is redundant because the timing between presses can serve the same purpose (accents can be marked by doubling a note, at least in traditional layouts). - The Dynamics section is unheard of in rhythm games, but I would suggest using the sticks to "draw out" the dynamics instead of just pressing a button (which makes for some funny moments and interactivity) Your on the right track, its only a matter of time before you can make a playable demo, pretty excited to see how it goes. Also, check out Parappa the Rapper and Trombone Champ if you want to see how they innovate rhythm game design (Parrapa for having a point system that encourages freestyling and Trombone Champ for the fact that you play a trombone period)
Thanks for the feedback! While I haven't played Trombone Champ, I have seen some footage and I did draw a bit of inspiration from it, along with bits and pieces from other rhythm/music games. To address your ideas: Rhythm, (at least in the proof of concept game doc), along with all of the other "characters" is scored additively (i.e. there is no "penalty" for missing notes). Instead, points are awarded for pressing (and some bonus for holding) notes accurately. Accents are completely missing in this proof of concept, but I like your idea of having doubled notes indicate an accented note. Dynamics actually do use a stick in one of my alternate control methods, and in the final game I hope to have a robust enough implementation so that the player(s) can freely switch between discrete and continuous inputs for any of the 4 "characters" Again, thanks for the constructive criticism and thoughts!
@TrevorSmithy hey I'm getting a quest 2 for my birthday and I'm planning to play minecraft on it. I know how to do java edition but do you mind telling me on how to play bedrock edition on it?
@@conuscheats You have to use Airlink with a windows PC then just make a shortcut (on your desktop or wherever you like) with the location of "minecraft://Mode/?OpenXR=true" Then you just open that shortcut while in Airlink
when i first collected this i thought it was just gonna be another pikmin song but this was a much better surprise, probably one of my fav songs in oot
So, you'll open it in audacity (like I do at 6:00 ), but instead of deleting the start, just highlight up to the point of the first note (that you want the player to hit). Using the time at the bottom (in milliseconds), you'll then access the top tab on the left (the music one) and put whatever that time was in the "offset" (Also, you may need to make it negative, I always get it mixed up.)
This game to me is perfection. Pikmin always has been. But Pikmin 4...man...so many things from my childhood. Hearing this play for the first time, i teared up a bit from joy.
