It's a bit misunderstood, but most of the attack isn't determined by the amount of lines cleared, but the difference is that most of my attack was mid combo (due to the c4w), so since the total damage is accumulative, there was (as noted) 70 damage. Add to that the additional 8 damage from the two t-spin doubles I had at the end, and the opponent had to counter 78 damage (i.e. nearly 4 boards worth). Their attack of 42 then made the difference still a whopping 36, or just shy of two whole boards, which meant that even after tanking a whole board, there was still way too much garbage to cancel. Here's a breakdown of how the 70 number was calculated: Sources: tetris.wiki/Combo and tetris.wiki/Tetris_Effect#Zone_Battle Combo 5 Single (Mini T-spin) in Zone = 2 Combo 6 Tetris in Zone = 2 + 4 (tetris) + 2? (b2b) Combo 7 Single = 2 Combo 8 Single = 2 Combo 9 Single = 2 Combo 10 Single = 3 Combo 11 Single = 3 Combo 12 Triple = 3 + 2(Triple) Combo 13 Double = 3 + 1(Double) T-Spin Double = 4 Last two pieces are combo 2 and 3, so +1 and +1 so 36 damage from attacks and 34 from a full zone charge ultimatris for SEVENTY DAMAGE TLDR: difference between ultimatris and perfectris (not including other attacks within zone) is only 7 lines. Most of the difference came from my combo clears vs opponent's lack thereof
