Great video. Just one question, my SKY box is connected to my SKY router. If I added these MW6 to the system, will I have to reconnect my SKY box or will it continue using the SKY router? Also will I be able to continue to use the SKY router as normal in the other rooms? Apologies if I have not explained it properly as I am a novice to this kind of tech. Just want to have better Wi-Fi in my conservatory which is about 9-10 mtrs away.
My hard drive died so using another pc, I restored an image to a new ssd, swapped out the dead hd for the new hd but it wouldn't boot. I'm guessing I'll have to do the rescue usb thing and copy the image to the new hd that way. Anyone know why a straight copy to a new hd didn't work?
Thanks mate , was following instructions online and it didn't tell me it was going to take a while so I was confused when nothing happened after I typed clean all
"Will it be detected"... "No idea if this is going to work". Hmmm. I told you that I'd done this about a year prior to this video and that it worked fine. A mention would have been nice.
So you would do this from two buildings and then could plug an access point into the LAN port on the client unit correct? Then you could have WIFI inside even a metal outbuilding?
then after doing this setup, do i need a router for receiver to use by - connecting it through Ethernet cable, because the receiver most probably would be in terrace and the pc or connecting device would be ground floor ?
Great video. So I bought a laptop for my niece and she has this problem. It does look like the issue is not the hinge itself but how it is glued or anchored to the screen base. Is this correct? I was planning to buy new hinges and the bezel but this may not be needed. Maybe any good flexible epoxy might do.
Hello there. I am a simple gamer using in-house modem provided. I recently acquired this draytek 2830 series n plus device - can I simply use to it make my gaming set-up faster? Can you please make a tutorial on how to set it up properly?
Thank you SO much for this video. This is the second time the hinges have broken on my Inspiron, what a crappy design. The first time was in warranty, now no such luck. Managed to do the repair by myself for £11 instead of going to the laptop repair place. You're doing the lord's work 🙌
Thank you very much for your video. One hinge on my laptop snapped off the plastic mounting and started to damage the display case. For me, the nerve-wracking moments were removing the bezel around the display. I was afraid that I was going to damage the screen, especially at the top and bottom, where the adhesive strips are found. However, taking it slowly, there was no damage. Adjusting the tension on the hinge screws took a few tries - I saw the tip from another viewer that said the hinge cover could be removed with the case reassembled, and that helped a lot. I used the JB Weld cold weld epoxy, and that worked great. It takes a while to set, but it bonds firmly.
Was the partition on the 500gb drive now maxed out at 250gb? I understand that is an issue of this procedure, that the larger drive will only copy to the size of the smaller drive, then you have to go into the pc and change the partition.
On the receiving (slave) side, can I then just connect a mesh router to the dish so I can connect wireless camera's etc? Trying to send wifi from our house, way out to the road so we can install some security camera's.
