Dell Inspiron 13-7000 DC jack & battery change 

This Dell Inspiron 13 inch 7000 series laptop failed to power on caused by a faulty DC power jack. The battery had also failed and would not charge. This is a fast 7th generation device that is slim, light and powerful. This is fairly easy to do as the power socket is not soldered onto the mainboard, allowing an easy swap out.
