spoilers: yes, but this video needed crafting for eyes of ender (to light the end portal) you can use a seed that already has the full end portal open.
Hey, I feel your pain. I had to do that amount of swimming on a version of minecraft where SWIMMING DID NOT EXIST, just to get a blacksmith that sold something very specific. (Not going into details) (This is for a challenge video I am currently working on btw)
I mean it was a cool video but why even make it if your gonna have someone craft at the end it's still breaking the rules wether or not you do it I would've been more satisfyed with a set seed thats like a 12 eye or something if you're going to have someone craft anyway but Ig thats just my opinion just seems kinda cheap
That's understandable, but I feel like a 12 eyes set seed run would've made the video less interesting. It would've removed 80% of the run, leaving only "find fletcher, get arrows, jump to stronghold, kill dragon" The other option would've been to set the version back to 1.8 (since Clerics used to trade Eyes of Ender back then), but once again the run would've only been "trade villagers kill dragon wp" So out of the three options (set seed, version 1.8 or multiplayer), I felt like the multiplayer-cheese was the one that would make for the most entertaining video, although I understand that some people will just consider it as cheating.
19:29 This made me think, what if a structure had the crafter block? Technical, *you* aren't crafting anything, it's the block doing so. However, the only place it would make sense for it to be is in the "secret" room in the ancient city (where many redstone components are displayed), so I'm not sure it would be beneficial to this challenge.
