9 out of 10 people who are blind or vision impaired don't need to be.
The Fred Hollows Foundation is inspired by the work of the late Professor Fred Hollows - an eye doctor who championed the right of all people to high quality and affordable eye care and good health.
The Foundation works in more than 25 countries and, for the last 30 years, has restored sight to more than 3 million people around the world.
This couldn’t have been achieved without the overwhelming support of our donors and partners, but there is so much still to do.

My hero, got his picture in my gym. No sports stars, just him. He did my eyes when we were in housing commission accommodation. Mum told me he paid off our debts when the debt collectors were coming around to take our tv. Let that sink in. R.I.P. you legend ❤️
The one foundation I'll happily give my low income (in a western world) income too. I refuse to just throw money at some food cause, I will however be in a high degree of happiness in the hope/knowledge my 'couple of bucks' have hopefully given some absolute random the opportunity to 'do better ' with their new power of vision. Tough times make tough people, with enough vision, Fred can keep fixing the world for many years to come, even though he might have found the charity name embarrassing ❤
Not just life changing but 100% life saving. CRAZY how many people are alive today because of Fred Hollows what he started. It's over a million people through that ripple effect.
