Hi I have no problem with using Ezviz IP cameras with HikVision DVR's and Hik-connect app, adding them as separate cameras also allows to use bi-directional voice from Hik-connect app, but does anyone solved the problem of putiing them in sleep mode with Hik-connect app ? This is only functionality not allowing to resign from using EZVIZ app...
No, Brand new cameras dont have any password. When you connect it first time to NVR it will take the password from the NVR, or if you connect it to a POE switch, you need to create a password.
Great video.I have a problem, I have an hikvision DS-7616NI-Q2 / 16P NVR with all port filled, and I need to add one more camera, i have a POE switch and extra cam is connected already, but is there a way I can get it detectec by hikvision nvr ?

I have a Sample of this camera on a skid that should arrive next week from UNV I cannot Wait to test this camera at my house in the "Bush" will be cool to see how well it will do with "no light at all" and I will move it around to other locations.
@starpuss where we installed the camera is pitch black at night. And without white light led on, normal cameras don’t have a good performance. But this technology is a game changer 👌
This tutorial is so detailed and easy to follow. And i've couple of Question . I did install hikvision IP cameras in some remote area and now i need to access it remotely to monitor from other location and setup and configured hikconnect unfortunately i encountered very low signal in the area to have a live feed from other location and i need proffessional help to fix the issue . what are my options ? @@beniamgebremariam8224 by using IVMS 4200 and add the devices under same account, but Hikvision software its not very strong and it keeps crashing, unless you purchase a licensed version

Hello, I tried to connect the DVR by the folloving method but I couldn't make it. I do not have any wired internet connection at my place. So I tried to use mobile hotspot to supply internet for the device. However, the device do not have ability yo connect wireless. So I used repeater and give internet access to the repeater by mobile hot spot. Then I connected the repeater to the DVR by wire. But unfortunatelly the DVR couldn't get the internet access. How can I connect the DVR to the internet wireless?
