I've cleaned mine and cleaned the thermal coupler and my pilot light still won't stay lit. It goes out after holding down the reset button over a minute must be a bad thermal coupler?
I just purchased the 100 series, looks like yours was the 800 series. Beautiful home by the way, my helper doesn’t know what a box wrench is. Thanks for the video, I like the fernie pad on the counter top, don’t know why that never occurred to me.
Recent flood. My pilot light lights, stays on, then burner also lights. Then burner only stays lit for a few seconds and goes out taking pilot light with it. Then pilot won't light for 20 minutes. When pilot does light, situation repeats. I've taken the burner assembly out and cleaned it and cleaned the filter, and blown out gas lines. Any suggestions appreciated!
This is exactly the type of faucet I needed to see but your video is no good. Watching you pull apart something why won’t you get the camera closer and better angle? This video could be so helpful but you fiddling with ? Is pointless sorry
Love your camera & lighting work. No bouncy, trembly video with head movements that are quickened on camera. I especially appreciated you taking the time to put the camera in the combustion chamber while you blew it out. Are you still making video? These are all older.
hey man, I’m about to order this. My question is I found a 30 foot section of half-inch wire stuck in a 6" line from another idiot plumber that broke it off and left it in the sewer line it’s been there for many years. My question is will I be able to pull it out with this tool? It’s a pretty heavy section 30 feet long half inch diameter.
Gotta love the half door vanitys especially when i cant even get my chest inside and im curled up between the door and the vanity trying not scuff the wall or anything.
I found out them kohler stems are reversible. I had the idea when i didnt have a choice with a glass filler i pulled the clip off pulled the stopper block up Flipped on the other side of the tits and put the clip back on. Turns a cold to a hot and vice versa.
Real plumbers know the original cast iron don’t back pitch, not to mention there’s no way to tell back pitch while pipe is in the ground 😂just because a retired fireman has a plumbing license doesn’t mean he knows what he’s talking about He’s actually the living embodiment of fake it till you make it.
Any suggestions on why an old model wont heat the water? It's from 1998-1999, I believe and used only to wash hands for tattooing over the years. I became the owner 4 years ago and it doesnt heat up anymore. Do i hire a plumber or is there something to replace? Any tips are helpful ❤
Great fast to the point clip 🤙🏼 Mine is the same (generic Moen) it’s on backwards &.. hard to pull … now it’s leaking severely 🚰💦 (a steady stream) Idk where to shut the water off except the main out by the road? Single dwelling .. My water heater only has a hot water shut off valve… any thoughts if there’s other places to shut the water off aside the main by the road? 😬 Thanks!
I hate when my wife pours grease and food down the sink drain. It will eventually clog up! I tell her to run real hot water down the drain from time to time!
I get so many calls on those pro press fittings leaking like crazy when contractors use them on tub spouts and then turn the spout on to tighten it to wall. Your better off soldering on the fitting at least on the spout nipple.. me personally I am old school and solder everything. But everyone has there own way of doing things.
Moen is frickin' garbage! I am replacing the 3rd one in 4 years. They don't honor any warranty, either. I don't know what this plumber is talking about because I called Moen and they told me to just take it back to crappy Home Depot.
I have that same bathroom fixture which is leaking really bad on the hot water side. The problem is I can’t even get the escutcheon off. What tool do I need to remove it?
