Oh cool. That should work fine. Only aftermarket Servo I have in any of my 1/10 is a 45g servo from Amazon.I think it’s called afgrc? It’s strong and fast. Its in my trx4. Bronco
@@Elisplushies360woodierc the esc was swapped before i hit up this location at the servo broke while filming this video i believe it was already broken when i hit those rocks but i was able to find a good angle to force the wheel left as i was going up those rocks so it worked it just got worse after that tho lol the blazer is on the work bench ready for a servo replacement when i get home today 🤟
Apparently whatever shipping container had the ones for the US got delayed so now we just have to wait for their Tallahassee Florida warehouse gets em i ordered a esc and a light box for my fcx10 blazer and got it in like in 4 days thats the reason why i hadn't done any vids with the fcx10 the esc stopped working and only had front and reverse all other functions were dead so i had to order a new on the light box is just back up just in case but they got here quick
So your experience so far with the fcx10? Pretty solid and reliable Rc? I know you really put them through the rigors compared to what I do with my crawlers.
@@Elisplushies360woodierc i run my rigs through hell and back i beat em up preety good as far as the fcx10 goes its a great solid truck i have no complaints but i think i might of submerged it one too many times so i figured the esc just couldn't take it anymore and part of it stopped working and just yesterday when filming my latest vid with the fcx10 i broke the steering servo i think it got caught preety good between some rocks during the first creek cross in the video and i ended up stripping some of the gears in the servo so after that it was only turning right and it would snap preety hard when turning left so i had to force the tires to go left with my foot in some parts of the film sesh but yeah other that that everything else is working fine 🤟
Niice good to know but yeah you will be down for a while tho you should film upgrade vids at home those are always nice for those who plan on upgrading their rigs
@@Elisplushies360woodierc yeah tutorials and upgrade vids are always good when your locked in maybe try amd make a tiny crawler course to show off your rigs 🤟
Remember to keep it scale or you’ll be upset. They are much smaller with very little clearance compared to our 1/18’s. My kyosho mini 4Runner is even smaller but I still have a great time with it.
@@Elisplushies360woodierc trust me woodie these things are gonna look so realistic that ill convince you to buy a couple lol jk but i have been looking at alot of 1/24 and 1/18 scale accessories for it in top of what they are gonna come with 🤟 first things first im gonna add those metal brush cables the disco comes with not alot of people have been putting them on they are loosing scale points for not adding them maybey some weathering but ive never done that before might screw it up lol well see definitely got plans for both
Ohh dude hope you recover quick not gonna be able to walk for a while ? And no worries ill bust out as much content as i can btw just got through filming and overland adventure with the fcx10 dropped a short yester im gonna drop another sometime this afternoon
Thanks man yeah it was a fun day at the trail its always nice to run ole blacky its my oldest rig basically my first 1/10 scale and rc truck ive had for about 4 years its taken a beating and has been fixed multiple times over the years but shes running good and strong i have another body for it as well its a red and black square body that i swap back n forth depending on the vibe 🤟
Thanks brother much appreciated 🤟 its always fun to run this rig its my oldest rc truck and its still running good n strong ive had it for about 4 years now almost 5
Heck yeah it was a nice day for a hike so i took the fcx10 for a trail run we were able to finish the film sesh before the steering servo went to shit and stopped going left it was only turning right lol i had to force the the wheels to turn left with my foot at some point lol but luckily we were able to finish filming before the servo broke well at least most of the filming i had to force it to turn left at some parts but it worked out lol but im cool i do have a couple of extra 1/10 scale servos to replace it so im good there lol but it was a fun day out on the trail indeed brother lol 🤟
Yeah its definitely a very nice body style most cars and trucks from the 60s seemed to have alot curved and sharp cuts those were the good ole days of car design and thanks again brother for you support 🤟
Thanks brother much appreciated yes ive had her for a while now its my oldest rc and first rc i bought a few years ago its gotten a beating and its had alot of work done to it to keep it maintained and running strong
Wow, what a cool vid!!!! The black one is like a bull in a china shop compared to the orange one, the slow speed control is not as smooth in comparison, are there any upgrades on the orange one?
No there are no upgrades on the orange one its stock ! The only change i did was the wheels and tires other than that its how it came out of the box and thanks again 🤟
The leafs are stock i have not changed anything to the leafs but i did swap out the stock shock springs and put in the trx4m springs that come stock on a TRX4M to soften up the rear some the front shocks are stock but there are upgraded ones you can buy if you want to swap em out for oil shocks through AliExpress made exclusively for the mn82 model
@@QuinnsRC thats a bummer some of the glue spread out to the windows when i pressed em in its noticeable if you take a close look but yeah it was a real pain in the ass to the the top windows in the rest were easy and quick
Right on man. Looking good out there. I was out doing a father’s days crawl Sunday morning. Happy belated Fathers Day! Also. Videos are popping up on the new Fms landies.
Thanks brother much appreciated and thank you and happy belated Father's Day back to you as well also yes I've been watching all the landy videos I'm actually in the process of getting the money together to buy one of them tonight cuz you're already up for pre-order and I thought it would be $150 but they're $120 so that's a pretty good deal or you can buy all four 4 400 bucks but I don't need all four of them just the discovery and the range Rover probably I'm going to buy the discovery first and maybe buy the range Rover in another week or two if they're not sold out by then
Im using 1.0 inch 68 mm dj crawlers their soft a maluable enough to go over the stock rims and they perform awesome i posted the links on the description i believe for the esc/reciever combo and tires
Yeah it get really nice out here in the spring/summer im more if a fall guy tho i like getting my trucks all muddy and stuff but i probably wont be doing and muddy trail runs anytime soon lol do ill enjoy this awesome weather while i can
Thanks brother much appreciated i got the camper from Fair RC they work with fms and they custom make stuff for fms trucks this is a 3d printed camper it comes unpainted so you can custom paint it to match your truck if you wish its a good solid piece it definetly wasnt cheaply made it taken a beating and is still intact no breaks 🤟just go to www.fairrc.com and you can search there
Thanks woodie sometimes you gotta go to settings on the video and you can click on advanced settings and then just hit 1080 p or p3 one of those and it should change the definition 🤟
Yeah its been a while since ive busted out the little chevys it was time hehe it was definitely a fun video to make !! Yeah that Marilyn manson song is probably the only one i like not a fan but this particular song definitely got my approval just the guitar rips sounds pretty freaking cool he sing it preety creepishly but it turned out good i busted out another short just recently as well i posted this one yesterday full vid in the next day or two
Thanks woodie i loves me some bob Marley brother i listen to alot of bob Marley year round but it just sounds better in the summer on a boat or a beach hehe the long wheel base sorta helped the heavy k10 with the camper on to get over that big root it didn't do any favors to the shorter 4M chevy but it found it's way around it lol
Im always on that grinding just not big enough to get any sponsorship yet i buy all my rigs to review with my own money so i might not be the first one to review a new product but as soon as i can i will as long as i can buy it early enough but regardless there are lots of other vids i do besides reviews! Thanks for your support brother 🤟
Wow!Both rigs conquered that rock crawl, but to me the trx4m IR40 with those crawlers gears looked smoother while the redcat looked more stop and go and the body looked jittery.Thats the difference between a lexan and a hard body though.Redcat looks really light and less planted than the trx4m.
True also my daughter was driving the redcat so she did struggle a bit since its her first official rockcrawl i think it took her a while to get the feel if the redcat was in my hands i think it would of gone more smoothly imo but yes the trx4m did run smoother i did order some brass for the redcat to give it some more weight downlow diffs and steering links will be brass i bought the them from injora direct so it will be another week or two before i get those parts definitely looking to see how it does with a bit more weight downlow it does a great job just with weighted wheels now with the brass i think it will definitely out perform the 4M
@@Elisplushies360woodierc yes indeed i do have a lexan gold suburban body i haven't used in a long while might just put it on the trx4m or the redcat to see how it does 🤟
That is very true brother hehe 🤟 definitely low n slow hehe i did lower the chassis a good amount to lower the center of gravity on this ir40 body u can see the stance as it rolling over the rock as far as the ascent18 goes its perfect the way it is i am gonna buy the brass steering links and diff covers they just got released by injora for the ascent18 definitely happy about it but as is the redcat is a little beast on the rocks 🤟
