That’s a good idea actually I was shocked by how large of a hole you have to drill I’ve already drilled mine out but my cab is never coming off I purchased it to be a Blazer. But if I had to do it again it try the way you did it the other mount locations should be good enough to get it tightly enough so it sits correct.
Cool i was so worried about put holes in the body.but are the holes on the bed the same holes for the side rails? If so then it be just fine to have holes there for either one the rails or the cap?.glad to see you got the orange and white. I'm get the yellow n brown. No you will need to drill 6 holes on the bed sides the indents are already marked for you on the back u just gotta drill thru those indents that are marked and you should be golden 🤟
Yes indeed that is a fact also adds some extra weight to the rear so the back end keeps planted during high speed trailing not as back end bouncy so it stays balanced on open diffs and sharp turns on higher speeds 🤟
