We can design a truly bespoke installation in your home no matter what size of room. From the latest OLED TV’s to drop down and fixed screen projector systems. Offering total control from a single controller, including iPhone, iPads and Android devices and giving you access to all your equipment and even your entire movie collection in one simple to find place.
Our systems conform to the latest standards and guidelines set out by leading industry leaders such as Dolby and DTS.
Hi, thanks for your kind words. You cannot really draw a direct comparison between a TV and a Projector. TVs will give you a brighter, sharper picture, but they are made for smaller sizes you will normally sit closer to. Projector-based systems offer you the ability to go larger, much bigger than you could with a TV. Also, Projector based system allows you to put the speakers where they are supposed to be, behind the screen. Hope that helps.
We have discussed it with them on a recent visit to our UK distributer. Hopefully something will come of it, but you do have to remember they are hand-made and they manufacture no where near the quantity of main stream brands. Honestly it's my favour thing in our demo room.
I like the way the room looks but the floors are not good because if you spill a beverage on that you're going to get a huge stain? And people in a theater surroundings love to drink beverages of all kinds..
Hi thanks for your feedback. The carpet was supplied by the client when the house was built. Agree on the colour (especially as they have young children) but this room was built to a tight budget and there was no point in throwing away a 3 month old carpet.
Hi Hope your well thanks for all the info and updates on the movie room build it’s looking great. I am indeed one of the DIY movie room builders and very interested to know the details of your fibre track. Many Thanks
Thank you. It is a 2.2 metre wide screen in a 16:9 Aspect. The rear wall is shared with the neighbours, but they cannot hear anything and where surprise when they popped around and realised there was a cinema in there 😊
What an amazing home cinema room you guys built for your client..Well done.. btw how long did it take to build a room like this for your client?? I want the same idea for my house here in Australia
Thank you. It took use around 2 months total to complete. But the project was on for around a year start to finish as we where waiting on other trades to complete their elements.
This is an awesome setup. Do you have a installation video for star ceiling? How did you make sure star ceiling is not in the way of the atmos speakers.
Hi, thanks for your comment. Unfortunately we do not, but the manufacturer has there own - ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-F-vCQuKTvyQ.html We plan the ceiling on a drawing first showing the location of the Atmos channels. Then Starscape CNC cut the holes whilst they are manufacturing the equipment.
loving the colour scheme, close enough to tardis blue, pretty much the dream, i'd go with pool table personally and gotta get a console hooked up being a gamer myself, curious how the sound is for people playing snooker?
Unfortunately we do not talk about monitory values on RU-vid as these systems are in clients homes and might not want others to know. Please reach out via email with you questions hello@immersivecinemarooms.co.uk
Yes you can. You will need to go into the settings of the device and switch off DHCP and assign it a Static address. Just download a IP Scanner on you phone of computer to make sure you are not giving the device the same as something DHCP has.
Thank you for your feedback. I'm not 100% sure as in this job we used another company. It was a grey suede. We normally use Blazer Lite and Lucia from Camira Fabrics on most of our jobs now as it acoustically transparent.
Thank you 🙏 We where also a bit cautious, so made sure the client was triple sure before we ordered them. Thankfully they loved them and they look great in person.
Thank you 🙏. They couldn't be bother to even put in a Centre Speaker. That way they could of legitimately called it a Movie Room and be a bit closer to the truth 🙄
Hi. The room is 4.8 metres wide by 4.7 metres deep. If you are planning on using a projector in the room just check its throw ratio. In smaller rooms you can easily get caught out by not checking this first and end up with a screen just bigger than a TV.
Unfortunately the space between the pillars was limited and would not allow an arm for everyone to have their own cup holder. Only two adults using it most days, so not an issue for them.
Hi, can you share info about viewing distance from first, second and third row to the screen, and how wide is the walkway between row 1 and 2 ? Thank you, and keep up the great job.
@@ImmersiveCinemaRooms hi thanks for that ,trying to plan out my home cinema build on a really tight budget ,my front channels are these kef 4100’s Is this something you would build and sell ?
Hi thanks for your question. Unfortunately not unless they are on the same network i.e. the two houses are next to each other and have a network cable between them. The Mini Boxes look for the main SkyQ box for both it's live channels and recordings, so if the other box is on another network in another location it will not find it.
Really incredible room. From the poll table part to the theatre itself. I like that you decided to install a sofa instead of a set of chair, creates a wonderful enviroment to be fully lived together with friends. I'd pay to take part in a movie party there! As a cinema student, I wish one day I can have a similar setup as well in my current house, but lack of usable space makes the dream pretty hard to reach!
Great video and another amazing looking project! If you don’t mind me asking… I’m building my own home cinema on a budget and I’d love to do a fabric wall but I can’t find the tracks anywhere in the UK. Do you know where I could get them from? Thank you!
Hi Aaron, great to hear you are liking the videos. Funnily we are just in the process of putting together some tracking packages for Cinema enthusiast who are looking to do their own projects. We are so busy in the run up to Christmas that there is just not enough hours in the day to get the finished, but drop us an email at hello@immersivecinemarooms.co.uk and I'm sure we could help.
Thanks for your feedback. We agree that would have been awesome, however the seating area would then be too close at its current location and back where the Snooker table is.
