Hey man I had a question about the fuel system on your e46 LS Swap. How long was your feed & your return lines? Im planning out my ls swap & fuel system before my engine is here. My setup is going to be a 6AN system with an adjustable fpr & billet fuel rails aswell
No idea man. I ran a string from one end to the other and ordered that size. In between the line I had fuel filters so technically the line didn’t need to be that long
Just to let you know for the future the oil pan is supposed to go on first before the front and rear cover. Those seals will prematurely leak. Sometimes people get lucky but for others put the oil pan on first. They have alignment tools just for this purpose.
Will it fit my 330ci??? And what whole front bumper setup would make it look cleanest? Would i be better off cutting the front fender flare to fit my headlights??

Hey men do you know in wich hole did you bolt your ls in the cx racing mounts? Im curently swaping a lq4 and i know you have the pmc adapter and a zf5 and the factory drive shaft i think? And its the route im going to and im just test fiting everything i dont have the pmc adapter wet but since i have a tbss intake the hood dont close😆 so i want to cut it in the right place. Just FYI. Regardless if you're mating eng/tranny in the car or out of the car. Always buy longer bolts with same size and threads as your trans bolts. 2" and 4" longer bolts usually does the trick, the longer bolts act like pilot bolts. Less effort if you have a floor jack or scissor jacks to hold the trans up and onto the longer pilot bolts. Anyway, thx for the vid
@@tim_misfitmfg How are thing holding up? trans and shaft is good? Gonna run that same setup too for drifting. Hopefully not gonna be breaking transmissions lol. Building a 6.0 hopefully to reach 400-420whp

i dont know the specs on the engine but if its a 5.3 those are decent numbers. if youre on stock head those make good compression which make power. You can step up to 243's and port them for a decent pick up in power and then also deck them down to take the chambers down a few CC's. Overall, not bad numbers. if the cam bogs down low for the 5.3 switch to something like the Elgin 1840P. Agressive came with a wide powerband. I had an LS1 GTO that i used to drift and the cam was wayyyy too big for drifting. It had no low end and sucked
I just sent some 243s off to TSP for porting and bigger valves. I will let you know If this is the culprit. Be on the lookout for another vid of the head combo

Hey boss! I’m doing the LS swap and noticed on your other video you used the pmc adapter . Did you need to weld it or cut into the firewall or any other fabrication . I want it to be a clean install .
Thanks for the info. I guess I was more asking which ZF trans the bracket is for. On the PMC website it says it’s for the ZF in a 328i and 330i but I’ve also seen that it only works for those trans in diesel cars. Was this a gas 328i trans in the video?
Whats the driveablity with the clutch setup like? Im trying to figure out what transmission I want to use with my swap and the limiting factor is the clutch for me right now
It's hard to say because I'm still getting used to the setup. I know it's either on or off lol. Once you get going it's not terrible. I wouldn't daily it that's for sure 😂. Maybe my ability needs work too.
Hi, I hope you can help me I'm doing the same swap as you and want know which driveshaft you used and if you had to extended I have a 2001 325i sedan and using the ZF 5 speed tranny with M3 differential and driveshaft and it looks like I will have to extend the driveshaft about 4 inches, please let me know what you did I can't find a shop around Orlando fl to modify
