Ls Swap + Zf Transmission: Installing A PMC Adapter And ACT Clutch 

Just to let you know for the future the oil pan is supposed to go on first before the front and rear cover. Those seals will prematurely leak. Sometimes people get lucky but for others put the oil pan on first. They have alignment tools just for this purpose.

Had to use the universal clutch alignment tool once. Pretty straightforward. I ended up buying one for myself afterward. Can’t wait to see this thing drive🤙

Just FYI. Regardless if you're mating eng/tranny in the car or out of the car. Always buy longer bolts with same size and threads as your trans bolts. 2" and 4" longer bolts usually does the trick, the longer bolts act like pilot bolts. Less effort if you have a floor jack or scissor jacks to hold the trans up and onto the longer pilot bolts. Anyway, thx for the vid

Pro tip put the motor on the ground when you put the trans on when you have the motor in the air with no one to hold it it does this angle /| when mating when it can’t move it’s easy as pie

Looking to do the same install except with a built lq9, what motor mounts did you end up using and were there any major issues that had came up?

Are there dowel pins that align the engine adapter plate to the transmission adapter plate when you assemble the transmission to the engine?

Question man I used the same adapter plate and same bmw trans I just am wondering how you attached the shifter to it did you have to get a different connection from shifter to transfer
