My channel is about making a life for yourself in the Philippines even with limited resources. I believe one can have a rewarding life in the Philippines that at times is even better than the life you had back in your home country.
I fully agree, we all need to make sure we stay healthy especially as we age, proper diet and exercises are a must and you are certainly fit sir ! That is a very nice GYM BTW. Take care and thanks for the video !
When I moved to the Philippines, I got my US license converted after being here only about 60 days. But I am here on an SRRV and, by law, don't need to have the ACR. They didn't care that I had not been there 90 days. At least you have a new facility in Bacolod. You should see (and deal with) the nightmare LTO office in Dumaguete! Last week I got my second renewal and it was for 10 years. No drug test but for renewals only I had to take an online CDE (Continuing Driver Education) written test with a minimum score of 13 correct out of 25 questions. I managed to get through it first time, but the questions are nitpicky (like how high maximum above your dashboard can you mount your cell phone.) But since you do it online at home you can take it again until you pass....or review the Q&A section of the course first. Upon entering, they marked my paperwork as "senior" priority and that notation was promptly and completely ignored by the rest of the staff. Took about 3 hours....P585.00....and they had plastic cards in stock! Amazing!
Great video. Calling this "a really nice house" is a big stretch. It looks like the perfect place to put some money into and have good digs for incredibly cheap. I can see where one could get top value. Thanks for sharing.
in my city in Siberia, the average salary according to Rosstat is 77,000 rubles, which is equivalent to $800, but in reality many work for $300-400, which is 2 times less :) while working as a courier when working 12 hours a day is $1000+ per month
GUYS are emotionally weak easy to catch because they thought they got a jackpot, young beautiful women to be of service to them. Being a financial provider u are excuse to be insensetive to the feelings of ur partner......It takes 2 to TANGO.
I just got mine done and had to take a short 20 question Test ,A health check NO DRUG TEST and yes you need 120 days on your visa to get a Licence took about 2 to 3 hrs to get it all done
There is always controversy whenever someone makes a budget video. I just tried to picture what an 800 dollar budget would look like. Pretty limited actually.
It makes me laugh that foreigners feel that they come here with a wad of cash/redundancy pay and get on by. 50k looks good in the short-term but it won't last long. You need an income, you need savings. I came here with 1M USD. I had already bought a house prior to relocating. Don't date online. Maybe meet someone in person.
I am actually heading back to the US for a couple of months in August, it will be interesting to see how things have changed. I love living here in the Philippines.
Living in the Philippines on $800 a month or even less. Folks the place is a dump. Full of elderly alcoholic western guys living aimless lives. And I've been there many times, mostly in transit.
Not right now, but there is talk of starting it up again. It would have to be outside our subdivision rather than before when we ran it at our home. Stay tuned.
Yes, in the old economy it is but the way technology is progressing they “ corporate elites “ will be left behind by neighbouring countries and demand government fix future educational system
We eat out almost daily and spend less than $800 a month in Bacolod, a good Korean barbecue buffet is 400 pesos per person, I was in Glendale CA and spent $140 for 2 at a Korean restaurant for lunch.
I got the Brave 8 LTE and the video quality is excellent. I’m not sure how this stacked up with Brave7, but the audio is okay. The external mic makes it a lot clearer.
While I love the Philippines, my heart will always be in the USA. Actually planning a short trip back to US in the fall, when things cool off and the leaves change.
“Find a need and fill it “ is the main motto in planning a business.Remember start a business but don’t expect to get rich right away.Do it to get yourself busy and also enjoy and prolong your retirement life.Build your customer base slowly. Also the most important thing to do is familiarize yourself with local laws of the Philippines concerning starting a business as a foreigner. And lastly “location!location!location! To prevent future problems, don’t involve in-laws family members! If you should fail, don’t worry, you can always start a “Mind your own business!”😊
Same model. I got a matte brown. Only experienced 1 issue -- engine dies intermittently due to side stand loose connection. Overall, greatest scooter I've purchased from looks to utility.
Several questions. Does every city have scooter sellers? Does anyone sell the Spider Style (trike-style) scooters and what is the price and last, do you need a drivers license to drive one in the PH? Am curious, in the event that I ever come there.
First off thanks for viewing, okay here we go, yes there is a scooter seller in just about any city but I have seen only a few that sell trike-style but they are getting more popular, great for short distances. Check out this site: www.zigwheels.ph/new-three-wheelers/best-tricycle for some prices. Yes you will need a drivers license to drive one. Hope this helps.
When you have been here several years and have a home, truck , SRRV and motor paid for it's doable on $1000.00 monthly especially if you live in the province.
