Welcome to our little nest box situated on the outskirts of Loughborough, UK. The aim is to stream live, 24/7 and we'll add edited highlight videos along the way as we follow our birds journey from establishing their nest to fledging their chicks.

The box was installed on the 5th March and we have a pair of Blue Tits building their nest. Fingers crossed it's a success!
Legend has it that this bird got its name after being attracted to ; and then landing on the shoulder of a shrieking washer woman in the 1800s who had an unfortunate accident with a roller clothing wringer.
F'ing cats!! Cats are murderous little psychopaths that need to not be allowed to roam freely. Cats have become the Sacred Cows of the western world where harming them is considered anathema. Its too bad.
Can anyone help ? My cat attacked a blue tit, its definitely still young but it was in shock so i had to bring it inside, i made ut a nice bed, it wont eat its been 8 hours. It has opend its wings but dosent want to fly ive managed to get the wee guy to drink some water. I took it outside but it didn't fly off and i didn't want to leave it on the ground as i have 3 cats so i brought it bk in and its got a warm side drawer with a luke warm hot watter bottle haha. I feel bad my cat had the little guy in its bouth n was bouncing around the garden for 15 mins with it screaming i thought it would be dead by the time i got it. Any advice?
I understand feeling bad for the scared little bird, and I understand feeling relief that the bird didn't get eaten, but can people stop demonizing predators? That cat did nothing wrong, it's only obeying its nature, and we humans are not above nature. You might say that cat doesn't need to kill the bird because it's got a home... But in reality you actually have no idea if that cat has a home or not. There are predators, and there is prey, that is nature and nature is metal.
That nest box, it is really good that hole is only so big, if it was a simple nest of sticks and twigs, it would have been ruined. Good job on the house and the camera setup, it is really cool to see the parent birds come and go and all the little mouths waiting.
Боже, насколько нужно быть тупым))) Вместо этих штырей можно было просто увеличить высоту отверстия от пола и никакая лапа кошки туда бы не дотянулась. Что в голове у этого "инженера" ?)))
I’ve been watching a bluetit fly in & out of my bird box for weeks building her nest. It’s now feeding her young. It’s humbling to watch nature. The effort they go to is staggering. How do they know to do it? It’s just wonderful. This video gave me an insight into what’s been going on in my own garden. Thank you for sharing.
