I love this car(e92 LCI), been driving it for 10 years 😂 still looks good, if u have some money to spend I would buy the M3 convertible and make it my project car, mega fun V8
I love protool. I had my 5 series for a year and it always had airbag and seatbelt ligjts i recalibrated the trac control system airbags and body control modules and the lights went away and never came back. They literally jjat needed a recalibration. U can do so much with this program
If u go into engine and then coding theres something where it says power level and has 3 options. I tried em but noticed nothing. Any idea what they are for?
I am going to put pure 600 stage 2 turbos and a bigger inter cooler and a charge pipe with a BOV and getting new 2 inch inlets and 2 inch outlets charge pipe those this MHD good to get about 550 to 600 HP ?
protool is simply the best ever andriod based solution to simple and indepth bmer coding...worth every penny and also works with cheap usb k-can cables
I have an 2011 LCI E90 with 328i xDrive with Steptronic Transmission. I have 141,000 miles on it. I never really played with the Steptronic. I was wondering what your thoughts/opinion on the Steptronic transmission was if you had any.
And here I am, proud owner of 1995 Toyota Starlet, watching this well made video out of pure polite curiosity. i admit, i had a fleeting interest in a BMW but when i saw that the road tax for the thing i'd need to pay is almost 3x of what i pay now, interest shiveled like joy in life when passing through nudist section of pensioners. Still a good video tho!
if you are only getting stage 1 then no you don't need the super license, the MHD app is the only thing you need to buy the license but you need something like the MHD adapter to apply the tune to your car
I bought e93 335i n54 with 43k miles for 10k & installed LSD and stage 2 mhd tune with charge pipe and bov and it’s 450hp for under 13k it’s still have so much potential with upgraded turbos and about 550-650hp under 16k $ and that’s cheapest HP on the market with nice chassis nowadays!
Thank you so much. About to go pick up my first BMW, and its a 90. You just helped me big time. I heard its recommended to do a maintance when you bring the car home, is there a way i can check in the menu when it last had maintence?
There is a menu of basic service items and when they are due but I wouldn’t fully trust it. They can easily be reset without the service actually being done or it’s also easy to forget to reset them at all.
I’d like to take more credit, but it would have taken me a week to find the issue on my 2011 x5. Your chronology of symptoms matched mine exactly. I figured, what are the chances of that!? New RDC and issue fixed! Thanks. If you were local to the UP, I’d buy you a beer.
I mechanically unjammed the parking brake, I'm told I need to clear the stored error code for the parking brake. Do you know how to clear? I only found transport mode disable? Thanks.
@lifebycars5849 yeah, I think I figured out. Just cleared all the codes for the whole car. Can you recommend tuning software for E70s? I'm trying to disable post cat o2 sensor monitoring. Thanks so much for your reply, it's hard to get feedback on these cars from guys with experience, I'm fumbling around in the dark.
Check valve cover gasket leak, check engine light, 4x4 light, anything headlight related can be expensive and requires removal of front bumper. Vanos and banjo line, misfires, burning oil, ticking or knocking noise. Rod bearings, DISA valve, i drive issues, oil leaks, dont buy one that has a tune or downpipe unless you can fix it. Stay away from temu modded cars. Most commonly owned by owners that do no maintanance. Most commonly found on buy here pay here lots for 29.99 apr. Anything related to the cooling system. Oil filter housing. And a partridge in a pear tree. Love my E30 and E36 🎉
