Yes. Hope Sandoval was not the first performer of this song. It was named as “Harpsichord” at first and was performed by Yolanda Quartey. Later, in 2010 the version by Hope Sandoval, renamed as “Paraduse Circus” was featured in the album “Heligoland”.
Powerful and in control, the best Dies Irae so far. Hard rock. There are for me 2 very different but reference interpretations of Mozart's Requiem: Herbert von Karajan and Sir Neville Marriner.
For me the choice was always between Von Karajan and Bernstein. I think it's a matter of personal tastes though. Sublime piece of art. The proof that God exists.
