He’s not the champ though, he’s the interim champ. Was Shane Carwin considered the champ? Poirier? Gaethje? And unfortunately for him he doesn’t even get the next real title fight

The difference is the chanps You mentioned beat real champs to become the champ and never refused to fight contenders, Aspinal interim championship is treated more like a vacant championship that he won
Don’t understand this view at all. Jones is a paper champion at heavyweight and Stipe has become an entitled diva. The two old guys who don’t want to fight contenders are going to fight for the belt, holding everything up. It’s a joke.

Thats dumb Bisping, GSP, Whittaker all had injuries. Jones doesn't. Tom is at the start of his career and actively trying to get a championship belt by fighting Jones and now Jones is having a go at him for not already having championship wins even though he is the one preventing it. Jon also missed the part where Stipe is 40+ hasn't faught in over 3 years and when he did he got ko'd by francis. He's being a coward

I really don’t get what you want tom to do, he called out ciryl gane and he refused to fight him. Stipe was offered the tom fight and turned it down. Jon jones is refusing to fight him. And the fact that in this video you called derrick lewis and jairzinho elite heavyweights says a lot. This is the equivalent of sean o malley refusing to fight merab and saying he wants to fight dominick cruz. I really do not understand why you want the stipe fight so badly, we both know exactly what is going to happen, stipe is in his 40s coming off of a ko loss. And why does he even deserve a rematch? He got an immediate rematch after losing to DC. There is simply no defending this anymore you said in the previous video you were stating facts. Such as him finishing arlovski in the 3rd even though it was the 2nd (and he got a performance bonus for that fight because it was so dominant). You also said that Tom got pieced up by curtis, even though the fight lasted 15 seconds and the strike stats are 4 to 3 check yourself, and it ended due to an injury. Jon Jones has beat 1 heavyweight. That heavyweight won a vacant title from Tai Tuivasa. The only time Jones has faced a YOUNG up and comer was against Reyes (which arguably he lost). Tom is the interim champ, and should fight the current champ. It's ludocris to say otherwise. The GOAT has turned into a DUCK.
And Tom has ONE championship win, an interim one at that while Jones has 14 title wins, 13 if you don't count the Reyes one, which I personally don't since I believe he lost that one. Still, he will fight Stipe next and if he wins I'm sure he'll fight Tom next, relax

Jones is rightly scared of Tom. Also Jones only has one championship win in the heavyweight division against a striker. He chooses his fights. ALL his wins have been against older men, nearly on their way out. Shogun, machida, Victor, Chael, Gustaffson, DC (oh and he was on steroids for that one), OSP. Tom has one championship win because THE CHAMP IS DUCKING HIM. It's hard to get championship wins when you get ducked. He's the interim champ. There has NEVER been a champion who fought someone else other than the interim champion.

The most well rounded opponent he's fought, Curtis Blaydes, he's lost to. He can rematch Blaydes, win, and the Jones-Stipe winner will likely fight him next. It took him 3 rounds to finish an old Arlovski, so not necessarily the fastest finisher. And again, he's lost before more than Jon has. He tapped out on the regional scene before even getting to UFC
@@BryanMMA Tom literally has the shortest average fight time in the whole of the UFC. 13 first round finishes. So yeah, he IS necessarily the fastest finisher. He subbed Arlovski about 1 minute into the second round, not the third. Go and actually watch his fights. Jones has beaten 1 heavyweight, and Gane himself wasn't even the champ, coming off just a one fight win streak
@@cookingfat1 I did watch that fight, it was a long time ago, thought it was the third, but Ngannou & Stipe dispatched of Arvloski in the first minute of the fight, only bring it up since Aspinall fans, including yourself talk about his short fight time. What about the Curtis Blaydes fight? Or the fight before UFC he tapped out of? Arvloski lasted way longer than he should have against him. He has some fast wins like Volkov & Pavlovich, good for him, but he has a lot left to prove in this division. With Pavlovich he was throwing haymakers and caught him, it's the heavy weight division, it can happen. Probably his most impressive win to date imo is subbing Volkov as easily as he did. Gane had beaten JDS, Rozenstruik, Volkov, Lewis, Tuivasa and gave a very tough fight to Ngannou, he was the upper echelon of heavy weight division besides Ngannou when Jones handled him in a minute

John Bones Jones, with a full camp isn't afraid of anyone period. If you have been following his story from the beginning you will see that he overcomes anyone's challenges. Sometimes he got lazy and then performed averagely, because he wasn't so worried about the opponent, yet he won. I mean, people are damn delusional and always want to make a story and an excuse For all the incredible MMA fighters he has defeated, I find it ridiculous that anyone would say he is ducking or afraid. Wrong, he has earned his way to GOAT status and is following his own plan. If Aspinal is getting salty because he can't wait, tough shiz. Grow up and mature and evolve. Curtis blaydes didn’t even really beat him heavyweight is full of bums. Who has gane beat? Who has blaydes beaten who has jones beaten I heavyweight? No bodies
UFC 297 was worse than this. Even if you only saw Erceg and Martinez fight a couple of times each, they were chosen because they produced exciting results. The card also has fun fights like Smith vs. Petrino and Pereira vs. Potieria. Brazilians in general have a good chance to make good fights, at least way more than the Canadians.
