Thanks for the application walkthrough! Appreciate it! I'm just planning ahead, in process of buying a property. Hopefully exchange by September. We going to remodel our master bedroom, make the ensuite smaller and apply for planning app to cut a new window opening on the side (faces no one and will be facing TPO trees) and on the roof for stairway. Hopefully, first time lucky! Been a long while since I've used CAD or Sketch up lol
A typical case is the client who plans everything themselves because they think they can do it all on their own, and then the architect who draws the construction drawings has to make countless revisions to the grant permission because the client "wanted to do it all themselves." Even for the simplest standard brickwork box, with a sliding door, they will always get something wrong.
My premium account, international business transfer page showing the same as for individual transfer, and Not giving me anywhere to enter : SWIFT Code, Bank Code, or IBAN, contacting Revolut over the last 2 weeks to fix, and still not resolved. Don't recommend
Im thinking of investing through revolut or just go by myself through etoro or something, i come from a turd world country & over there investing through your bank is pretty much a no no as they take pretty much 90% of it 🤷😂, so idk about revolut
Generally, a good helpful informative video but not perfect. I'm contemplating doing exactly would you've done i.e. .. a rear extension with new windows all round. My house is semi-detached as yours and I'm planning to undertake the work myself. You've made the point a few times, that the video is directed at the owner/self builder, who is probably going to work on his own property. Which is good and I think a video like yours, would potentially save you pounds in architect fees? My only criticism is, when you get to question 17 (11:46 mins) you don't actually explain how to answer the question. Leaving up to the viewer to try interpret what you said and filled in? You only make a reference (again) to this being a simple self build, help video. Which really it can only be, if you make clear instruction on how to answer specific questions? I take your point, that question 17 might be targeted at a developer. But speaking (like you) as a sole, one house, extension builder, how did you answer that question? Surely the aim of your video, is to provide guidance on how to complete the planning application form. But I'm sorry to say Bret, if I was relying on your video to help me fill in the questions, I think I may end up phoning or emailing the planning office, for more clarity on how to answer specific questions? Thanks for your time and uploading tis helpful video.
I hope I'll find my dream house, have my offer accepted, wait months for the deal to be finalised and then having the seller to back out of it because of you.
It is kind of a game. However I had to save some money and I bought some stocks, some are loss and some are profit. If I were in another country where I could sell on the streets, I would buy my merchandise and start doing business to have profit and cashflow at the same time. With those stocks, there is no cashflow, the money is kinda locked away for a long time until you can see profit.
The reason I'm struggling to deposit into Gemini from Revolut is that Gemini do not provide a bank account number, only bic/swift and IBAN. If they did provide acc number it would be exactly the same as setting up any other new payee and this video wouldn't really be required!
Thinking of giving this a go Bret, thanks so much for the information. Just a question, does all of the above still apply for Permitted Development? As in, filling out an application on Planning Portal etc?
Nice video! I just curious, If I sign up Revolut app and use my passport? (Not sure they steal my passport?) when I get new standard card can crypto? Because first time for me.
you have to declare profit from investment gains in your financial tax statement according to your tax residency rules. Revolut have a tool to retrieve statements.
@@phazernet9760 Wrong, some stocks can be a huge loss and come to null. Have you seeing he lost money with coinbase(£400+loss) , paypal (£300+loss) etc.?
Great video! I see you posted it 11 months ago, I am curious as how you went about plastering afterwards, did you do anything to prevent cracks along the edge? Would you have done anything differently? Cheers
