1:07 I’m so sad after over a year of watching/attending this church online & wanting to move to Texarkana to be part of this church in person to learn of Pastor Jeff calling those to teach as pastors who do not meet the Biblical qualifications - Titus 1:6, 1 Tim 3:2-5, & Eph 6:4…. Mike Courtney & even Chris, they might be deciples & saved (it is not that I doubt that) but according to God’s word they should not be pastors. Have been praying for Pastor Jeff. Sadly the entire message is about God’s word except this little portion that keeps sneaking in…. Red flags going up. 😢
Lots of times divorce isn’t a mutual decision. The secular law allows divorce if only one party decides that they no longer desire to honor their vow before God to remain joined. I haven’t had the pleasure of meeting Chris, but his passion for family and healthy marriages maybe a clue that Chris maybe didn’t instigate his divorce. God bless you, Chris! Thank you for your inspiring, message tonight. It is very much needed in this fractured world.
I understand that about divorce personally, as that is what I too endured in my own marriage. That being said Titus gives specific instruction. Not at all saying anyone who has had a divorce can’t attend church or have a very important role in Kingdom work, they just shouldn’t be pastors as Paul commanded.
I love Chris & this message & others he’s spoke on. This is the 1st I’ve known of his divorce though. Titus 1 instructs us clearly & I’m very confused now of why Pastor Jeff is allowing this. Pastor Jeff has been clear on what the Bible teaches us about women’s roles in the church. My heart is burdened after this today sadly.

Jeff, I always thought that the sea giving up its dead was a reference to those who were destroyed in the flood. They were a very wicked people and since this is the white throne we are discussing that’s where my mind went.

I have a friend that's a journalist in Israel. He saw all the brutality and it hurt him bad. He's a Christian. Has a podcast and also, works for CBN. I worry about him. Please pray for him and Israel. Thank you in advance. 🙏🙏🕊🕊
