Thank you for this video. When I very first got into 40K I started with DG and wanted to make them into Boba Fett colors. But, after years of not painting them and playing with the army concept, it just didn't feel right so I never did it. My mercenary "Tau" army is instead going to be going full Boba Fett colors. This is really appreciated.
I realize this video is from 3 years ago, but it still applies to some of today's applications. A little criticized feed back though, I would have added some orange and yellows towards the center of the red along with some glow effects on the surrounding areas to really sell the glowing and exertion of heat from the engine.
Such a nice guide and a nice guy! :D I did it exactly like you, but can’t manage to get the nmm silver on the sword working… mine does look like green with a bit brighter spots :(
Brilliant work! After stippling (which stencil brush did you use) , you mention to use glaze with the stippling colour to close the gap. That’s interesting. Is that to smooth the gradient ?
thorough guide, loved it. the airbrushing segments sadly I cannot follow as I do not own one, does a slapchop style drybrush in those areas give the same effect?
Thank you for your video. I will try it on my new army of soublight. Does it have to be dry between 2 overbrushing ? Like overbrushing grey, let it dry, and then overbrushing white. Thx for all videos about cursed city.
