about 30 yrs ago l had a 68 or 69 p6 crayford estate conversion.... sold it to a guy from hollland......wonder if its still out there....was a lovely car

I woul love installing Rover Vitesse 3500 DUAL PORT V8 200 HP! Might sound even better than your (nice sounding!) original. The Vitesse V8 has some kind of TURBO SOUND made by the different Gear Driven Camshaft --love that howling sound!

Nope, that was when the P6 2000 came out - the V8 arrived in 1961 (as the Buick version), but was ditched in 1963. GM were persuaded to sell the rights, tooling, etc in early 1965.

Luckily so was everyone else!! :-)

Rover V8 was available in land rovers until 04 I believe and I think the engines are still made for use in kit cars and engine swaps

It's a 3528cc (215 cubic inch) V8, originally a Buick engine, but Rover purchased the rights to it in the late 60's, I think...

It's at the front! :-) I am not a mechanic or an expert - I can change perts when they don't work. If it ever needed a rebuild - then I'm afraid it would be handed to someone better able than me.

15 seconds is what my 300SD 0-60 time and its a 3.0 5 cylinder turbodiesel... What's the engine displacement???

Mine was repainted Corsica Blue by previous owner (from Isle of Man I think) Previous colour not sure about.

When I called him, I seem to remember him saying it was green & not blue (this was the early 1990's though). I sometimes see him driving around in a black RR, so if I can I'll ask him to confirm.

Only 8 p6 3500S estates were built - The chap I bought this one from a long time ago - told me it had been owned once by Jools Holland - I have nothing to back that up though!. Maybe the same car?
