You were so sweet in your wedding , so young and in love and still together all these years later. You are still so sweet together. When is it time to go... So timely for me right now... And probably for a lot of us watching.
We, too, made that transition when my husband retired from pastoral ministry about 15 years ago. He is still very active in ministry, we just don’t have a church, he is active with mission work in Africa and in training, counseling and consulting with church and lay leaders across denominations, leads spiritual retreats, several men’s groups in our community. We are busy!

Well I just want to say thank you for sharing about all your churches that you pastored. Such a blessing when God moves on your behalf but it's also not easy doing the hard work and especially if people are going to be nasty and rude at times and you do have to have tough skin especially in the ministry because so many people judge and the Bible says we not ought to judge one another but love one another and forgive one another. But you both are strong together and you have a strong marriage and a strong faith and that's what helps keep you going. God bless you both and thank you again for sharing .😊

This is my 2nd marriage (1st Christian marriage) and finances is the main thing we argue about. In my last marriage, which did not have Jesus and we were both unsaved, finances was never an issue. I mean never. I’m so sad and disappointed and literally miss with all my soul how things used to be in this area. 💔
Your videos are such an encouragement as I am preparing to hopefully enter into full-time ministry soon. I have been able to glean a lot and just be encouraged through your experiences and the lessons you learned along the way!

Great video. I listened to it twice. I like what you said about Jonah... That it was the greatest revival in history and their nation repented! It should have been celebrated by Jonah...good grief... God was talking to him! I like what you said too..God's dealing with people. I appreciate you're sharing for pastors ...but I like how you've given me insight and it's less about Jonah and more about what God did. Thank you. 🙂❤️
Thank you! That credit rating is strictly designed to benefit businesses, not the citizens of the world. Very sad. I do not worry about it either. If my debts are paid, I have a roof, food, & clothing, AND I can support my church (should be first I know), all is well.

This topic is difficult for both my husband and I to discuss. With sky high prices everywhere we turn, from groceries to clothes, to summer camps, etc. it has been taking a bit of a mental toll on me.
I struggle with chronic pain and sometimes wake up with zero desire to read & worship so I turn to RU-vid and pull up someone I really respect like Scott Pauly and watch a sermon.
Hi Sherry and Vince, This was so interesting! Thank you for sharing in detail. I'm encouraged and am going to follow your plan of using the envelope system. This was very helpful. I have one credit card almost to the limit,and an IRS bill ( I took some money out of my IRA and my financial person didn't insist I call my tax lady about taxes to include. I wish she had done that. But at least each year when I have taxes done,my refund goes to the IRS debt,so the 4 years may be less a bit each year. The monthly payment is 200 dollars but it sure will be nice when that's paid off). Did I just share too much? Well...thank you for your advise. I love what you said- always take a snack,or lunch, and just take it a day at a time. Have a restful night. 🙂❤️
